Manchester United Vs Manchester City

Manchester United is overall better than Manchester City the oilers. The rivalry between

the two is the biggest rivalry in English Football. Manchester United has 42 trophies compared

to Manchester Citys 22, United has been more dominant throughout the years. United has won

20 league titles while City has only won 7. In the early 1990's Unite started to become the new

big giants, whereas City was still in the second division. Both of them are top 10 in revenue, but

the United fanbase impacts the world more since they have fans all over the world. For that

reason Manchester United is overall better than Manchester City in every way.

Manchester United has more trophies than City. United's 42 trophies is 20 more than

Citys 22. Therefore United is more dominant and has always achieved more than City. The 20

league titles for United have all come throughout the years of dominating English Football. City

only has 7, meaning they have a long way to go. United overall have 20 more trophies than City

in all competitions, Therefore having 20 more trophies than their rivals means United is better.

Overall all this means United has been superior for years and been more dominant.

Manchester United had more past success than Manchester City. ¨In 2004-2009 Won

back to back titles¨ as claimed in the article. While winning these titles they had the greatest

coach of all time Sir Alex Ferguson. In the 1990´s United began to come onto the scene more

and more, City was still in the second division with people not even knowing there was another

team from the same city. Therefore ¨United had more success during the span of the 1990´s.

Manchester City secured their first league title in 44 years in the 2010 campaign¨ as stated in the

article. They were not dominant for 44 years compared to United that had always been

dominant. The overall success has led to United Being The better team for decades.

The rivalry between the two teams has always brought excitement also known as the

Manchester Derby. The rivalry is the biggest rivalry in English Football, if not the biggest in all

of soccer. They are also both top 10 in revenue and they are from the same city. They are some

of the richest clubs in all of sports. In every aspect United has Done everything more, therefore

they have more bragging rights for everything they have achieved.

The United fanbase impacts the world more than City. Manchester United has fans all

over the world. They have a larger fan base than Manchester City. The way United impacts the

world is by its history and greatness they have achieved. City doesn't have too much history and

they don't even fill up their stadiums whenever there is a game. The United fanbase is also loyal

to their club unlike City who most of their fans are bandwagons. For that reason the United

fanbase impacts the world more.

In conclusion, through all my research I have come to believe that Manchester United Is

greater in every aspect than Manchester City. There will always be debated whether who is

greater and better, but the trophies speak for themselves. Since as early as the 1990´s the rivalry

began and has been the greatest since. The fanbase of United has proven to be loyal since the

beginning and through its history. Both United and City are 2 big teams , but overall United has

shown and proven they are overall better while City has a long way to go. ¨It's about passion and

dedication , Whatever the score¨- Manchester United. I think this quote has good meaning to it

saying the players are all for the club no matter if they win or lose.
