In the last decades themes such as childhood obesity and associated health problems

are getting known by the society and having a considerable important place in debates. It is
becoming an increasing public health problem and measurements needs to be taken before it
is too late to save this generation. Many organisations can be part of that change.

No one would dispute the fact that keeping fit is crucial even for young people and,
with all the facilities and technologies of the modern world it has become an excruciating
mission.

In those aspects, attract teenagers to sports require innovation and creativity. One of
the methods could be introducing Sport Clubs in schools, where the students would be able to
choose, besides many sports, their favourite ones. It would also develop personal relations and
even friendships.

Another useful method would be using the technology in favour of health. By

encouraging producers to develop more video games that require any physical movement and
teenagers to prefer this kind of game instead of the conventional ones.

As the demand is the law of market, parents have a major hole in the change of game
types and are responsible for offering better technology for their children. That includes video
games such as Kinect and PS4 where the player uses the body to produce movement in
television. For example, hit a ball in a virtual tennis court or run an online marathon. It is a
funny way of keeping active and fit.

To sum up, we need to change the way young people see physical activities and attaching it to
things they like and do with pleasure is a great approach. Technology is one of these things
and it is also the future of almost everything in our lives so, the strategy that I would
recommend and believe that is more efficient is using technology to motivate people to keep
fit.
