 Follow these CRISP feature tips for perfect cooking results
Prior to using your microwave for the first time, please refer to the Use and Care Manual for all safety and user instructions.

Pre-heating the CRISP Plate

Prior to using the CRISP feature, it is essential to pre-heat the CRISP Plate for two minutes. This will ensure the surface of the
plate reaches approx 210°C, the equivalent to a frypan.

The CRISP Plate is the main source of heat distributed to the base of the food, therefore it is essential that the base is hot
prior to placing the food substance on the plate.

Please note: The CRISP Plate must always be used when using the CRISP function. Due to the CRISP Plate being hot, utilise
the CRISP Handle provided.

Baking cakes
When baking a cake, use the CRISP Grill function. Pre-heat the CRISP Plate for two minutes. Directly place the cake tin onto
the CRISP Plate and then set the desired cooking time (approximately five minutes depending on type and size).

The heat source from the CRISP Plate will allow the bottom of the cake to brown, whilst the Grill function will brown the top
of the cake. The 3-D distribution system will allow even heat distribution cooking the cake thoroughly.

Steaming
When using the Steam function on the 24 litre Vitesse microwave, utilise the measuring dozer for the required amount of water.

The 31 litre Jet Chef model does not require the measuring dozer as it has the 6th Sense™ feature. Simply fill the base of
the steamer pot with water (approximately 10mm in height above the base of the pot). For larger portions of food requiring
steaming, fill the base with more water.

Cleaning the CRISP Plate

Always wait until the CRISP Plate has cooled before cleaning it. The plate should be cleaned in luke-warm water containing a small
amount of detergent. Heavily soiled areas can be cleaned with a scouring sponge and a mild cleanser (do not use steel wool).

Cooking using the Jet Menu is easy

To make everyday life simple, we’ve included a quick reference guide to the Jet Menu on the inside of the door.
