WHAT TO ATTACH WHERE TO ATTACH
The pneumograph component
of the polygraph records the
subject's respiratory rate. One
PNEUMOGRAPH tube is placed around the
subject's chest and a second is
placed around his or her
abdomen. These tubes are filled
with air.
Blood pressure and heart rate
are measured by the cardio-
CARDIOSPHYGMOGRAPH sphygmograph component of
COMPONENT the polygraph, which
consists of a blood pressure cuff
that is wrapped around the
subject's arm.
During the questioning the cuff
remains
inflated.
The galvanograph section
records the amount of
GALVANOGRAPH COMPONENT perspiration produced.
It consists of electrical sensors
called galvanometers that are
attached to the subject's
fingertips. The skin of the
fingertips contains a high
density of sweat glands, making
them a good location to
measure perspiration.
Keymograph component is a
KEYMOGRAPH COMPONENT motor
that pulls or drives the chart
paper
under the recording pen
simultaneously at the rate of 6
or 12
inches per minute.
WHAT TO RECORD
When the subject
breaths, changes in the air
pressure in the
tubes are recorded on the
polygraph.
The movement of blood
through the subject's veins
generates a sound that
is transmitted through the air in
the cuff to a bellows that
amplifies the sound. The
magnitude of the sound
relates to the blood pressure
and the frequency of the
changes in the sound
relates to the heart rate.
As the amount of sweat
touching the galvanometers
increases, the resistance of the
electrical current measured
decreases and these changes
are recorded by the polygraph.

I have friends in our area, most of my friends are just my neighbors. We are happy to be friends, have
fun, laugh, fight, and tell stories. We are always together every morning and evening to make memories
we are friends with. many days ago we became more and more friends. we always go out to roam, eat,
and exercise and other fun activities. I consider them my brothers and sisters because they once lived
for me. They are the ones I always talk to in the morning or in the evening. We always provide food and
we always borrow things we need. It was only three years before I met them. My mother always scolded
me because I was always away from home. The friend is very important to me and and I value it in my
life. we are friends who have never fought. My friends ’parents and my parents would get to know each
other. We were always wandering around and eating out. They are also the reason why I am so happy.
They are one of the important people in my life because they are one of the builders of my colorful life
and they are one of the people who are reliable and help me. A few days ago I felt there was something
wrong with the friendship of my friends because some of them had misunderstood and quarreled and
had already had a false friendship or in other words were lying. Five days later my mother told me to go
out but I didn't come and I said I was doing a lot here at home that even though I really had nothing to
do, I lied because I didn't want to go with them. Many days and many times they invited me but I lied
many times so that I could not be with them. Since then I have always had a reason not to be with them
and I have always lied to them.
