# Eidolon's Occult V2
You or someone in your family once stayed on the brink of death for a prolonged
period of time meeting the elusive Eidolons in some way binding you and possibly
your family to their lingering souls. Phantasms called Eidolons grants you your
tempermental abilities. You are constantly on the verge of being one who is
considered to be alive and who is considered to be dead. To some your power is holy
and belevelent; others your power is evil and a curse. To you it is one and the
same.

## Class Features
As a Eidolon's Occult, you gain the following class features
#### Hit Points

- **Hit Dice:** 1d8 per Eidolon's Occult level
- **Hit Points at 1st Level:** 10 + your Constitution modifier
- **Hit Points at Higher Levels:** 1d8 (or 5) + your Constitution modifier per
Eidolon's Occult level after 1st

- **Weapons:** Daggers, Darts, Slings, Quarterstaffs, Light crossbows
- **Tools:** Medicine Kit

#### Equipment
You start with the following equipment, in addition to the equipment granted by
your background:
- *(a)* a light crossbow and 20 bolts or *(b)* any simple weapon
- *(a)* a component pouch or *(b)* an arcane focus
- *(a)* a dungeoneer's pack or *(b)* an explorer's pack
- two daggers

### Spellcasting
Your spellcasting it channeled through your sould via your binding to your
Eidolons. Due to the nature of this you may choose either the Warlock spell list or
the Sorcerer Spell list at character creation.
#### Spell Slots
The Eidolon's Occultist table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your
spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot
of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish
a long rest.

#### Spells Known of 1st Level and Higher


You know two 1st-level spells of your choice from the chosen spell list.

The Spells Known column of the table shows when you learn more spells of your
choice. Each of these spells must be of a level for which you have spell slots. For
instance, when you reach 3rd level in this class, you can learn one new spell of
1st or 2nd level.

Additionally, when you gain a level in this class, you can choose one of the spells
you know and replace it with another spell from the chosen spell list, which also
must be of a level for which you have spell slots.

#### Spellcasting Ability


Charisma is your spellcasting ability for your sorcerer spells, since the power of
your magic relies on your ability to project your will into the world. You use your
Charisma whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use
your Charisma modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a sorcerer spell you
cast and when making an attack roll with one.

*Spell save DC* = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier

*Spell attack modifier* = your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier


#### Spellcasting Focus
You can use an arcane focus (see the Adventuring Gear section) as a spellcasting
focus for your sorcerer spells.

### Eidolon's Occult Expanded Spells


These spell count as Eidolon Occult Innate spells for you and do not count towards
your known spells

## Eidolon's Spirit

You can summon one of three types of Eidolon Spirit that displays itself as some
phantom feature on your body.
- Eidolon Wraith is a spirit that excels at stealth and striking from the shadows;
*commonly seen as horns or boney protrusions*. *Necrotic Damage* ***[+X to attack
rolls]***
- Eidolon Angel is a spirit that excels at tanking damage and capturing attention;
*commonly seen as wings or a halo*. *Radiant Damage* ***[+X to AC]***
- Eidolon Spirit is a spirit that excels at speed and illusions; *commonly seen as
a limb or eye*. *Duel Damage* ***[+X to initiative]***

You may use 1 sorcery point to summon the Eidolon outside your body for 10 minutes,
during which the feature on your body disappears. You may change the phantom type
upon a long rest or change it by spending 1 sorcery point.

Speak with DM if you would like an added stat boost based off of current spirit

*X = Sorcerer Level / (5 + amount of extra spirits) rounded down. Minimum of +1*

## Soul Focus

You gain Focus points that allow you to hone your soul to create different
reactions. You can never have more focus points than what is shown on the table for
your level. You may spend 1 hour focusing on your soul to regain 1 focus point. All
focus points are regained upon long rest.

## Eidolon's Grasp

You may attack using the phantom feature on the body dealing either *1d8 radiant,
1d8 necrotic, or 1d4 radiant and 1d4 necrotic* damage depending on phantom form.
You may gain temporary health equal to total damage dealt by spending a sorcery
point.

If you kill the target with this feature you may regain 1 hit die (turns into 2 at
6th level, 3 at 14th level, and 4 at 18th level)
**You have disadvantage on this attack if you or the target is above half total
health.
You have advantage on this attack if you or the target is below half health.**

## Eidolon's Choosing

When you reach level three you gain the choice of which Eidolon you resonate to the
most. Altering your abilities further. Embrace the Wrath Eidolon to gain extreme
power from your shadows; however, you lose all of the light inside your soul.
Reverberate with the Angle Eidolon blesses you with increased healing and armor;
however your emmence light banished any shadow from your soul. Resonate with the
Spirit Eidolon to achive the balance of primal mortals. Capable of both light and
dark; however, Your power is equally as primal.

*You gain one Subclass Feat upon taking the subclass. You gain these feats every 3
levels there after.*

## Eidolon's Blessing

You may touch one willing target with the phantom feature as a bonus action dealing
either *1d8 radiant, 1d8 necrotic, or 1d4 radiant and 1d4 necrotic damage*,
depending on phantom form, to yourself and heal the target for the damage dealt.
Using 1 to 5 sorcery points will also allows the target to resist death for 5
minutes per sorcery point; however target can still be knocked unconscious.

You may only use this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per short
rest.

## Eidolon's Vigilance

Due to your constant taste of death you are able to immediately tell when a
creature within your sight is on the brink of death. You may use a sorcery point to
bless or curse the creature to give advantage or disadvantage on saving throws
including death saving throws for 30 minutes.

## Eidolon's Power

By spending 1 to 5 sorcery points you are able to draw out the true power of the
Eidolon’s Phantom gaining a temporary buff and debuff for 10 minutes per point.
- Eidolon Wraith grants proficiency in stealth, acrobatics, and slight of hand
checks. You also deal half damage while outside of dim-light or darkness
- Eidolon Angel grants resistance to slashing, bludgeoning, and piercing damager
(all damages of these types are reduced by 50%). You also become vulnerable to
fire, frost, and lightning damage (all damages of these types are increased by 50%)
- Eidolon Spirit grants 10ft extra movement speed and proficiency in deception
checks. You lose any ability to swim or fly and your passive perception drops by 5

You may activate one of these effects based on phantom type that is currently
**not** summoned, *if phantom is summoned effect ends early*. **Only one may be
active at a time.**

## Eidolon's Mirage

You have earned the Eidolon’s grace allowing access to more power from the Eidolon
Phantoms. Allowing you to gain up to two more Eidolon Phantoms for your use. For
each extra Eidolon Phantom you lose that many hitdie from your hitdie pool.

You may release these extra Eidolons at anytime. *This also increase the duration
of Eidolon’s Power to 1 hour per point.*
##### Special Notes*
Eidolon only gains access to the spell *Mirror Image* once you have lvl 2 spell
slots.

>***Phantoms Walk*** The Eidolon is able to walk through walls, obsticles, and
entities as if there were rough terrain. Eidolon is also able to ignore floor
terrains such as ice, or water based terrains. Still impacted by viney terrain or
terrains that deal damage.
> ### Actions
> ***Multiattack (Spirit Only)*** The Eidolon makes up to 3 attacks. Hit: 1d4
radiant + 1d4 necrotic. *The Eidolon uses the same weapon as you, sharing it's
properties except for damage. Same hit modifiers as your attacks.*

> ***Illusion Prowess (Spirit Only)*** Once per short rest the Eidolon may cast
either *Minor Illusion* or *Mirror Image* * with out using a spell slot or any
components needed.

> ***Wraiths Shadow (Wraith only)***
The Eidolon can hide in it’s shadow as a bonus action allowing the opportunity for
a stealth attack.
>
> ***Deathly Touch (Wraith Only)*** Melee Weapon Attack: your spell attack modifier
to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 1d8 + 3, and the creature must succeed on a
Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or be frightened of the undead until
the end of the target’s next turn.

> ***Radiant Bolt (Angel only)*** Ranged Spell Attack: your spell attack modifier
to hit, range 120ft, one target. Hit: 2d4 + 3 radiant damage
>
>***Angels Shout (Angel Only)*** The Eidolon is able to make a shout afflicting up
to 6 creatures. Afflicted creatures must make a Wisdom saving throw against your
spell save DC or be charmed into attacking only the Eidolon. Afflicted target may
make an attempt to break the charm at the end of its turn.

# Umbral Embrace
You have embraced the Wraith Eidolon. Your path is a shadowy and potentially evil
one. You sacrafice part of your shadow to the Wraith Eidolon, removing your soul's
light but granting the emmence affinty for the Shadows.

### Umbral's Embrace Requirements


You must be a nongood aligned character to take this subclass. If you attempt to
take this while good aligned you gain no bennifits from this subclass, only the
negatives.

### Shadow Weaving
You are able to craft simple weapons and tools from your shadow. When you craft one
of these items you loose 1 HP that doesn't return until the item is unsummoned. You
do not regain this HP if the shadow item is broken until next long rest.

### Shadow Heart


You sacraficed the light in your soul to gain the affinity for the shadows. By
doing so you can no longer cast spells that create light or cause radiant damage.

### Shadow Strike


You gain a sneak attack while in dim light or lower. If you use this attack before
iniative and roll a 15 or higher on the attack roll the entity must succeed a Spell
DC Con save or be consumed by the shadows killing them immediately.

**note this does not work if entity has already rolled iniative against others. DM
can decrease DC by 1 for each level higher the entity is than you.**

> ##### Shadow Magic
> Shadow Magic has the ability to emulate many different magic. However this can
occasionally lead to issues as they are quasi-real spells. The Creature can attempt
to disbelieve your quasi-real shadow magics by a wisdom save against your spell dc
+ 5. If the creature succeeds they take half damage from the spell; however, if
they critically fail this check they take an extra damage equal to your Charisma
modifier

>## Meeting the Eidolon
>*Bright lights are flashing infront of you. These light almost appear as memories?
Is this what they mean when they say your life flashes before you're eyes when
you're dying? It's this comment that makes you remember that you are dying. You
fight to stay alive. This continues for day on end. Slipping back and forth between
the realm of the living and the realm of the dead. It's then you realize there are
three entities standing around you watching... waiting. Once they realize you see
them they shift infront of you. You look at them and see one with a arched back
hidden deep in abyssal black robes only their horns showing, another in bright
radiating armor and ethereal wings, and the last oddly looks exactly like a
translucent version of you. They speak in unison saying "**You are a strong soul.
For making it this long on the brink we give you two options. First you may pass on
peacfully and painlessly. Second you become our occult and rise to your greatest
dreams. By doing so you accept to taking us within yourself empowering you and your
future kin with our kind from hence forth. The choice is yours**". Before you
answer you ask what they are. They simply say "**Eidolons**". Before you can ask
anything else you feel yourself fading and quickly answer "**I will become your
Occult**". They swirl around you becoming mists as you begin to feel your body
changing. First you feel horns and other boney protrusions emmenate from your body.
Then you feel the heat of a halo and fluttering of wings. Finally you feel your
body torn appart. For each peice lost another ethereal one grows. After that you
remember nothing.*
