If a problem is detected in the operating systems, the monitor read-out will display one of two
indications. These would be a display with the words “!!ERROR CODE!! This is usually followed
by an audible warning as well as a separate indication elsewhere. The other display would be the
actual “FAULT CODE” display listing for the system with a problem. This is usually indicated by
a six digit display specifically for the system with the problem. The monitor is capable of sorting

•Engine coolant sensor is defective
•Gear speeds are limited
•Rough gear shifting
•Slow steering response
•Lack of brake control
Remedy:
•Move to a safe location and shut
machine down immediately
•Stop ! Call your Komatsu dealer
