Background CASA AD/ERUCEUIL/67 mandates the removal of any unoccupied rear bench seat cuhions during fight with doors open or removed, unless the seat cushions are restrained by mechanical means approved in accordance with CAR 35 in addition to the existing Veloro method, Eurocopter AS350 Service Bulletin No. 25.30 details the addition of a strap on the rear of the backrest, which passes through a loop on the seat cushion, and attaches below the bench-seat by an eye-end and widening of the “VELCRO” strips on the rear bench seat. As this Service Bulletin is not CAR35 approved, it does not strictly meet the requirements of the AD. The Purpose of this Engineering Instruction sheet is to CAR3S approve the Eurocopter AS360 Service Bulletin No. 25.30. 3. Procedure 1.
