Method.
Treatment of stator coils: Motor falling in 132, 160 and 180 frame size
shall be provided with special impregnation process and other than
above (200l and above frame) motors shall be provided resin poored VPI
insulation. The completely wound stator shall be preheated, dipped in
synthetic varnish under vacuum and pressure and oven cured. Double
treatment shall be given by repeated dipping and curing cycle to ensure
high resistance to moisture, vibration, injurious deposits as well as
chemical contamination.
Rotor: Rotor shall be dynamically balanced.
Overload capacity: 110 % continuous for constant torque application
160% overload for 30 sec., 4 times per hour for.variable torque
application and 250% for 60 sec for constant torque application motors.
Anti condensation heaters : To be provided for motors 75 KW and
above.
