II. Examine the following statement. Right true if it stated a fact and F if it doesn’t.

1. Class K is a new classification of fire as of 1998 and involves fires in


combustible cooking fuels such as vegetable or animal fats.
2. In incipient phase the products of pyrolysis are mostly water vapors and
carbon dioxide.

3. Thermal balance and thermal imbalance are two out of three other types
of fire behavior which the investigator must be familiar with.

4. Conviction currents also carry combustibles and cooled pyrolytic products

5. Radiation simply means the process in which energy in the form of rays of

by the fire.

8. Flammable and combustible liquids such as gasoline, fuel oil, and


turpentine are volatile.

9. Heat is any device to start a fire.

10. Fuel is a colorless, tasteless and odorless gas in the earth’s atmosphere
which is vital to human life and fire.
