On Tuesday, January 1st, KG department had a meeting and agreed to

modify and add many activities to the curriculum.

1) Speaking activity where students have to recite two to three lines
regarding a given topic. They will perform it on Fridays during
their Science class.
2) English teachers will prepare a small story with pictures and try to
read one page each day in class.
On Thursdays, Students will study it at home in order to perform
the following day in class.
3) Students will be having three to five rhyming words as phonics
activity and spelling as well.
Teachers will send a message to the parents on Fridays mainly to
assist their child during the weekend in the subjected task.
On Wednesdays, teachers will revise the spelling words in class,
and on Thursdays the students will do their spelling quiz.
4) Before starting their lesson, a starter activity will be conducted.
Teachers will be playing on daily basis a video regarding the sound
of letters (phonics) and days of the week.
5) To reduce the English PPts to four instead of five just to assign
Fridays only for activities in English and science.
6) Use rewards to encourage the students and apply the method of
‘star of the week’ by giving the students each week a certificate
depending on their improvement and participation.
7) Use pictures to teach students how to write small sentences such as
“I can see” “I like to play”.
