/ INTRODUCTION

Snap Tech offers the popular, internationally recognized Scrum certifications through the SCRUMstudy examination body.
Snap Tech is also a SCRUMstudy approved Authorized Training Partner (A.T.P.)

The Scrum framework is a standard agile delivery approach supported by the SBOK™ Guide, which is structured in such
a way that it supports product and service development in all types of industries and in any type of project, programme
or portfolio, irrespective of its complexity.

The SBOK™ Guide is a standard guide for organizations and professionals who want to implement Scrum, or for those
already using Scrum, who want to make improvements to their products, services or processes. It is intended as a
reference and knowledge guide for both experienced Scrum practitioners or other product or service development
professionals, as well as by persons with no prior experience or knowledge of Scrum or any other project delivery
methodology.

/ WHAT IT IS
Scrum was formulated as a faster, more flexible way to deliver the greatest value in the least amount of time. Scrum ensures transparency in
communication and creates an environment of collective accountability and continuous progress. It relies on adaptive planning and iterative
development and delivery. The primary focus of Scrum is on the value of people in getting the job done effectively.

Certification Hierarchy:

There is only a mandatory prerequisite for the Expert Scrum Master Certified (ESMC™). For the other Scrum certifications, the diagram below shows
what the preferred (or optional) certifications are, in order to move to the next level.

Professional Development Units (PDUs)

PMI Category-C approved PDUs can be claimed for continuing certification requirements as set by PMI, to ensure that your certified professional competencies are up
to date and relevant.
Re-Certification Units (RCUs)
Certified professionals need to participate in continuous learning activities to earn Re-Certification Units (RCUs) to maintain their credentials. Every certification requires
the certified professional to earn a minimum number of RCUs every three years.
Proctored Online Exams
Live online proctored exams allow you to take your certification exams from the comfort of your home using a webcam and a reliable internet connection. All exams
will be proctored live and videos of the exams will be recorded and reviewed. You will receive an email with the exam link, dates, and times for the exam, and you will
receive your exam results immediately after you have submitted your completed exam.

You must have a webcam in working condition or you will not be able to take the test. The webcam must remain on during the test, and the video of your exam will
be captured throughout the test. A working headphone or system microphone is also required to connect to the audio conference. The tests works with latest versions
of Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox or other popular browsers. Ensure that you have the latest version.
