2. All dimensions and levels must be checked before
manufacturing.
3. The design is done according to the Egyptian code of practice
STEEL CONSTRUCTION AND BRIDGES CODE No. ECP
205-2001.
4. The steel used for built-up sections is St.52 with yield stress of
3600 kg/cm² and ultimate stress of 5200 kg/cm².
5. The steel used is St.37 with yield stress of 2400 kg/cm² and
ultimate stress of 3600 kg/cm².
6. All welds are workshop welds.
7. Min size of fillet weld is 5.0 mm, unless otherwise specified and
must be checked according to specifications.
8. All contact surfaces at bolted connection should be adequately

treated by sand blasting or girt blasting.
9. Steel parts shall be painted with an anti-rust painting according to
specification.

12. The max. size of fillet weld should not exceed the thickness of
thinner plate to be welded.
13. Bolts used are H.S.B. of Grade 10.9 and 20mm Diameter unless
