My Reflections/Insights

1. If the NCBTS is the measure of a global teacher, can the teacher


you interviewed be able to meet the challenges of global
education? Why? Why not?

Yes, because she has the most qualities that the teacher possess.
Teachers nowadays are a critical thinker and intelligent. She’s an expert
in teaching and she can be able to meet the challenges of global
education because that was her mission as a teacher.
2. Are there similarities or differences among teachers in other
countries in terms of the standard requirements for a
professional teacher? Explain your answer.

There are similarities like, with a Bachelor’s degree diploma, pass


national exam. There are also some differences like with TEFL certificate
because here in the Philippines it depends to your specialization and
every individual teacher are not required to have a certificate of that.
3. Are Filipino teachers comparable to their fellow teachers in
other countries? Explain your answer.

Yes of course. Because Filipino Teachers are very hard working,


intelligent, flexible, enthusiastic and possesses other good qualities that a
teacher should have.
4. How would you prepare to become a global teacher of the
21st century? How do you see yourself?

First, I improve myself to become a global teacher of the 21st century


through learning and practicing my abilities and skills to be more
effective teacher and to be a teacher who can change the world. I can see
myself teaching and inspiring children to be a better person and was able
to do where they are good at.
