Y12 Assessment Schedule- ToK

- Built into this calendar are (1) the four mandatory, Core components- PART 1, (2) the two, mandatory Optional Themes- PART 2 and (3) four of the five mandatory
Areas of Knowledge- PART 3. History has been excluded and can be covered at the start of YR2 of the course.
- Each teacher is responsible for creating and administering his/her own Formative Assessments as these are required throughout the course and will form 30% of
the students’ grade. Unlike the other IB subjects, ToK receives a letter grade: (A-E). Teachers will be required to upload their formative assessments to this
designated folder on Teams.
- Also included, are the reading assignments and the tentative dates of the Common, Summative Assessments.
- Percentage breakdown: 70% for Common, Summative Assessments and 30% for (teacher-created/generated) Formative Assessments. Please take note of these
percentages when setting up your classes in Manage Bac.
- There will be one, common Formative Assessment. This will be the Mock Commentary of 500 words.
