Derive the condition for maximum efficiency of a Transformer. 5 05. Explain working principle of current transformer (CT) with circuit diagram. 5 06. What are the difference between bank of 3-phase transformer and 3-phase transformer ? 5 07. A single phase transformer has 400 primary and 1000 secondary turns. The net cross sectional area of the core is 60 cm . If the primary winding be connected to a 50 Hz supply at 520V. Calculate (i) the peak value of flux density in the core (ii) the voltage induced in the secondary winding. 5 08. A 3-phase 6600/415V, 2000KVA transformer has a per unit resistance of 0.02 and per unit leakage reactance of 0.1. Calculate the Cu loss and regulation at full load 0.8 p.f. lag. 5
