relationship between incivility and potential outcomes. In Academy of Management
Proceedings (Vol. 2019, No. 1, p. 14571).
The main focus of my research and work is emotional intelligence in organizations and
education systems and the evaluation of trainings to enhance social-emotional competencies.
I have been studying in the links between emotional intelligence and other concepts (such as
well-being and incivility), and the effectiveness and impact of emotional intelligence trainings in
both qualitative and quantitative measures.
I am intending to co-author a book about extreme cases of incivility and the impact of emotional
intelligence on coping.
Additionally, as technology shapes reality I intend to study the role of group apps such as
WhatsApp on emotions, empathy and support in the family, as well as bullying, emotional resources
and family support in a cultural perspective.
