NARRATIVE REPORT

The opening of classes under the strict health protocols for education frontliners placed a
concern for school heads on the monitoring and validation of teacher’s performance when taking the
Work from Home Scheme, thus, the proponents of this innovation thought of solving the concern
without risking the safety of the teachers and non-teaching staff of the school.
This innovation helps in providing timely log in and log out records of the teachers as well as
recording their daily accomplishments. The proponents monitor the attendance of teachers on a daily
basis and submit the records to the school office on a weekly basis.
This innovation started from September 8, 2021 with a Virtual Orientation. September 9 and
10, 2021 was a Dry Run on using the platform and to train and guide teachers on the online
attendance and AWA of teachers.
September 13, the first day of classes, all was set and teachers were able to log in and log out
accordingly. They found it helpful and necessary for our attendance and daily accomplishment
reports. At present the AWA platform is still in use and provides ease at work in the school, keeping
the safety of teachers and providing timely monitoring of teacher’s daily activities.
