A. Introduction/Preparation:
Let the students pick up some pieces of papers and arrange their chairs.

B. Teaching Modeling
1. Share a story about a successful welder.

C. Guided Practice
Group activity:

Share instance in your life when you were benefited by welding.
What can be the job opportunities available for the people who are
knowledgeable about SMAW?
IV. Evaluation:
Answer briefly the following questions
1. What is the meaning of SMAW?
2. What are the five essentials in welding?
3. What do we call the electrical conductor that is melted and used to connect
metals?

V. Assignment/Agreement:
Write five uncommon words encountered during the lesson and look for its meaning.
Write it on your TLE notebook.
