ABSTRACT

This paper is primarily based on literature research and it is

divided among five parts, which are: (1) Introduction (2) Methods (3)

Result (4) Discussion. This study focuses on the introvert students in

a sampled school. The goal of the researchers is to create an actual

result of the research. The group used a survey to be able to gather

information regarding the subject matter. In which, fifty (50) random

individuals in Grade twelve (12) HUMSS students in Metro Manila

College during the time of data collection were asked thirty (30)

questions regarding the introvert students in HUMSS strand. After the

survey was conducted, the data was presented in the form of a Table

and was interpreted. The existence of knowledge as basis for this

study, review of literature for Introvert personality was discussed to

support the relevancy and significance to the study.

METHODS OF RESEARCH

This chapter presents the different techniques,

methods and procedures employed in gathering the data needed. It

contains the research design, co-researchers, sampling technique,

research instrument, questionnaire, construction of the instruments,

validation of the instruments and the statistical treatment of data.

RESEARCH DESIGN

The researchers used Descriptive method of

research. As defined by McCombes, (2020) Descriptive research

seeks to describe a population, situation, or phenomenon in detail and

methodically. It can answer the questions what, where, when, and

how, but not why. A descriptive research design may examine one or

more variables using a variety of research methods. Unlike

experimental study, the researcher does not influence or alter the

variables; instead, they are observed and measured.

RESPONDENTS

The co-researchers of the study were 50 Grade 12

HUMSS students in metro manila college enrolled in the school year

2020-2021.

SAMPLING TECHNIQUE

The researchers used simple random sampling to

conduct this study. As cited by Cherry, (2021) a random sample is

a subset of individuals randomly selected by researchers to represent

an entire group as a whole. The goal is to get a sample of people that

is representative of the larger population.

CONCLUSION

E-Learning is a great resource for helping introverted

students become more comfortable in the classroom and become

more confident in themselves. However, introvert students in sampled

school in Quezon City faces many experience and has affected their

academic performance. Experiencing struggles while studying gives

students low motivation, distraction, difficulty of concentrating and

lack of time management. Base on the information that we,

researchers gathered, it is advisable that Introvert needs more

assistance and understanding from their peers, acquaintance or even

in the society that they're living in. Our research study conveys

awareness and enlightenment about introversion. As some people

believed that introverts are just shy so they are isolating themselves,

but in our research, we proved that there are many factors and

various causes why they prefer to have some time alone.

RECOMMENDATION

If a study like this would be conducted, the group would

recommend other researchers use larger sample sizes. This would

help produce a more accurate result as more samples are used, thus

getting an input for a larger amount of the population. This also helps

in hypothesis testing. As the result of significance would be more

accurate. Additionally, the researchers would recommend others to

provide a more in-depth questionnaire so as to gain a more in-depth

input about the result. Also, based on the findings and conclusion

presented, the following recommendations are suggested:

INTROVERT PERSON/STUDENT

The researchers recommend that the introvert students must

understand what particularly overstimulates to them, for instance

being interrupted and asked to make decisions while you're

concentrating, noisy environments, turning on and off from being in

social mode, group socializing or group meetings, and replying to

people on social media.

child is different to other student personality, so they will guide them

well.

SOCIETY

The researchers recommend that the society because it is very

important that we understand each other especially in this day and

age.

FUTURE RESEARCHERS

The researchers recommend to the future researchers to use larger

sample sizes if they will conduct a study like this This would help

produce a more accurate result as more samples are used, thus

getting an input for a larger amount of the population. This also helps

in hypothesis testing. As the result of significance would be more

accurate.
