RATIONALE

As mentioned by Amy Ross (2010) in her study "Nutrition and its effects on

academic performance: How can our schools improve" eating food with vegetables has

been linked to a better memory, alertness, and faster information processing that would

be of big help especially for accountancy students. Foods that are rich in fiber, protein,

and iron such as bread, lettuce and ham, keeps the body alert and provides just the

right amount of energy needed by every accountancy student to get through the day.

On the other hand, when people think of coffee, they usually think of its ability to

provide an energy boost. Accountancy course requires time and a high level of focus in

every brain-draining subjects that is why most of the students are coffee drinkers

because they need to stay awake for quality learning.

The proponents came up with a project title Cafe-tal Asset proposing to offer a

coffee gelatin and a salad sandwich with a twist. In this product we aim to provide a

more healthy sandwich thus we came up with a concept of using low-fat mayonnaise

available in the market together with a low-saturated fat cheddar cheese to provide

consumers substantial amount of nutrients in the most healthiest way in order to yield a

sound mind, sound body and sound tummy.


Conclusion
The main objective of the proponents of this study is to determine the customer
satisfaction and the marketability of the products being served. The success of
this whole undertaking is manifested from the feedbacks of the target consumers.
 Customer satisfaction in terms of;

 Quality of the products. Based on the preceding evaluation, the overall quality

of the product showed a very highly satisfied feedback from the customers.

This encompasses the high satisfaction by the consumers in terms of

affordable price, good taste, ideal packaging and friendly services.

 Appearance of the product. The proponents found out that there was a very

highly satisfied result from the evaluation of the packaging of the product. The

packaging for the café de gelatin gave the consumers the easiest way to

consume them together with the visually presentable packaging of the

sandwiches that paved way to entice more customers.

 Affordability. The evaluation of the price of the product showed a very highly

satisfied result which confirmed the affordability that was also relative to the

good quality of the product being served fit for a typical student budget.

 Friendly service. The evaluation of the services offered by the proponents

showed a very highly satisfied result confirming the friendliness and highly

satisfied customers that were adequately catered by meeting their needs and

expectations.

2. The marketability of the product


 With a very highly satisfied result that encompassed the desired target, it is

then concluded that the products being offered clicked the market thus a

manifestation that students in BE building were into sandwiches and coffee de

gelatin.

Recommendation
Aspiring entrepreneurs and students should stimulate their innovative
interests and ideas in adding more features in their products that would be
appealing to target customers. The following are the recommendations provided
by the proponents;
 Instead of using mayonnaise for the sandwich, yogurt would be the best
substitute for it is rich in nutrients such as pro-biotics and strengthens
immune system.
 Since it is proven that consumers are more interested in an “all-in product”
that is fit for a typical student budget, proponents recommend on
developing new healthy meals such as pastils or lunch packs that would
help consumers meet their needs considering the short break, saving them
more time from going out.
 In regards to packaging, it should be more eco friendly and of lesser use of
plastics.
 For the marketing strategies, we recommend making posters that can
visually entice more costumers.
 Lastly, to recommend future entrepreneurs to consider focusing on other
factors, not just on customer satisfaction and marketability, hence might as
well consider offering services and widening target consumers, including
those in faculty and staff.

Reflection

There are a lot of challenges that lies beyond in this competing business era.
Having to deal with a lot of transitions and innovations, it is of crucial point to
think of products and services that would entice the market. Entrepreneurs
understand that competing in today’s crowded market with unlimited options
means a seamless blend of every buying option your customer could want -
whether it's online, physical store, mobile, voice assistant, or a customer service
call. It’s an unending evolution of ideas.
For this project, I learned that it is never always about how much capital or savings
you need to be putting up into business, but it always starts on one thing, what
can you offer to this industry that will keep you going? Thus, given the
advancements and various options there are in this modern world, you will never
go out of place. Together with the dedication and strong will, every entrepreneur
can have a good kick start for such business. Also, in every project, a good
teamwork will always make up a significant amount of success. With the saying
that no man is an island, it is of good reminder that a business is a system and
that system will keep on going if everyone is working on it that will eventually
show smooth flow of aimed targets.
I am thankful given this experience of indulging myself in starting up a business
with groupmates. I was given a taste of how to deal with it, what are the dos and
donts, the right marketing strategies and how much dedication needed to make it
to the desired success.
