Toolkit
Aim of activity The aim of this activity is to invite youth leaders to identify, when they
are feeling low, what they tend to do in order to feel better. The
output of this activity is to create a list of activities that youth leaders
can rely on when they are feeling low. As this ‘toolkit’ can be
personalised, youth leaders can share this concept with their peers.
Examples can include; playing sports, listening to music or playing
video games.
Materials Required To complete this activity, the following resources will be required;

Pens and markers for notetaking;
Sheets of paper for participants to create their ‘Toolkit’;
Colourful pens and markers for youth leaders to design their
Toolkit
Flipchart for recording responses.
Step-by-step The facilitator will start the activity as a group activity in order to allow
instructions for brainstorming to occur but as the activity continues, it will become
individualised.
