1. Create a Firmware USB Stick

Xc2003 Firmware is distributed as an ‘XC2003_0_0_xxxx_autoupd.zippi’ file, where ‘xxxx’ stands for the
Firmware version:

The ‘zippi’ extension of this file needs to be renamed into a ‘zip’ extension:

Unzip the ‘zip’-file:

Under the root folder (in shown case, under XC2003_0_0_2760_test_autoupd), there is an “autoupd’ folder:

Copy this ‘autoupd’ folder to the root of a blank USB Stick.

Now your Firmware USB Stick is ready, and ready for use.

2. Download Firmware into the Xc2003

Have the Xc2003 powered down.

Insert the Firmware USB Stick into the USB port of the Xc2003.

Press the power button to power-on the Xc2003:

Wait until this view pops-up (this can take about 30s.):

Press the load button for 1s.:

Now the Xc2003 is updating the Firmware. DO NOT POWER DOWN the Xc2003 during Firmware update.

When the Xc2003 shows ‘Update is Complete’, press the power button to power-down the Xc2003:

Remove the Firmware USB Stick from the Xc2003 USB port.

Now your Xc2003 is ready, and ready for further use/configuration.

3. Create a Parameter&Language file USB Stick

Xc2003 Parameter&Language file is distributed as below:

Open the folder which you need,there are four files:

Copy these four files to the root of Service Level Hardware USB Key
Now, your USB Stick contains following files:

Now your Parameter&Language file USB Stick is ready, and ready for use.

4. Download a Parameter and Language File into the Xc2003

Have the Xc2003 powered down.

Insert the Parameter and Language File USB Stick into the USB port of the Xc2003.

Press the power button to power-on the Xc2003:

Wait until the Xc2003 finishes its Initializing Sequence.

Go into the Settings View

Scroll to, and Enter the ‘Production Tests’ menu

Scroll to, and Enter ‘Restore Parameters and GUI File from USB’

Press Enter to confirm ‘Restore Parameters and GUI File from USB?’

Wait until the ‘In Progress. Please wait…’ pop-up disappears.

Press the power button to power-down the Xc2003:

Now the Parameter and Language File at your USB Stick is copied into the Xc2003.
