prior to starting your exam. You must adhere at all times to the examination regulations and guidelines.
If you are found to be in breach of any of these regulations or fail to adhere to the guidelines, you may
become liable to disciplinary action, pursuant to bye-law 8 of ACCA’s bye laws, which could result in
your removal from the student register.

2. You may use up to 2 sheets of blank paper upon which to do rough workings. This must be destroyed
immediately following conclusion of your exam.

3. Remove all items, other than those listed in your Information Sheet for On-Demand CBE students
sitting exams at home, from your workstation now. Ensure all mobile phones are switched off and
removed from your workstation. If you are found in possession of any unauthorised materials, which
includes mobile phones or smart watches, you are in breach of exam regulations and your conduct will
be reported to ACCA.

4. You cannot leave your workstation for any reason during the exam and you must obtain permission from
the proctor if you wish to finish the exam early.

5. All on-demand computer-based exams are of two hours’ duration. The software counts down time
available to you on a clock which is located on the top tool bar. This will automatically advise you when
there are 15 minutes to go.

6. Before starting the exam please ensure all computer programs and files are shut down.

7. The keyboard and mouse must only be used for the purpose of answering questions. Any student found
using these for any other purpose will be reported to ACCA.

8. At the end of the exam, please print a copy of your provisional result notification if you have access to a
printer. Please note that your result is provisional until it has been confirmed by ACCA via your Exam
Results Status at which point a downloadable final results notification will be available within your
myACCA account to print or download. Please allow up to 72 hours for your status to be updated.

9. You must destroy any rough workings, notes, script booklets and documentation at the end of the exam
as instructed by your proctor.

10. If you require a comfort break, please take this now as breaks will not be permitted during your exam.

11. Your proctor will advise you when to start the exam software and input your ACCA registration number
and date of birth. At this stage your proctor will check your identity and the exam available before
entering a proctor code and advising you to proceed.

12. Do not begin the exam software until your proctor tells you to do so.
