Some people think it is better for people to change their career at

least once in their life and do different kinds of jobs.
Do you agree or disagree with this opinion? DISGREE- experience
with practice
1- Paraphrase the question: rewording, reintroducing
2- Opinion- agree/ disagree
3- Flow of the essay

In this fast progressing world, career plays an important role in every person’s life. It is evident that change in the career is a matter of debate among people because some are in favor and
others are opposed to it. This essay firmly/ strongly/ fully/ completely disagrees with the given notion/perspective and supporting arguments will be discussed in the subsequent/upcoming/
forthcoming paragraphs.
Change is the law of nature which is applicable in every part of life. There are many people who believe to change the job once in their life whereas others do not support this idea. This essay
partially agrees with the given notion and supporting arguments will be discussed in the subsequent paragraphs.

(Introductory) Convincing arguments can be made that it would not be

beneficial to change work pattern for a person in between his work period.

To begin with, to commence with, to initiate with,

(First view) If one continues his profession in the same field, it would make him
perfect because it has been rightly said that practice makes a man perfect.
(Supporting statement)…..

(Second view) Adding more value to it, when a person has vast experience in
his field and it would enhance (MORE) his promotion opportunities but this
could not come about if one plans to work in a different field. (Supporting
statement)…..

(For Example) Likewise,/ FOR EXAMPLE workers have more communication

and co-operation if they continue in the same working environment as they
understand and know well each other and this could enhance/improve/
polish/ build their confidence which would not only be beneficial for an
employee but for the employers also.

FOR EXAMPLE, IF A PERSON IS WORKING FOR YEARS IN THE SAME FIELD

THEN THERE ARE MORE CHANCES OF GETTING COOPERATION AND
BETTER COMMUNICATION AMONG CO-WORKERS.

On the other hand, change is the law of nature. There should be changes in the
working circumstances of the workers because sometimes they feel bored by
working in the same area all the time. For example, a person is continuously
working as a clerk for many years; he has no excitement, hence, needs to
change and also get better salary. Besides this/ APART FROM THIS, due to the
timing issues also, sometimes females working in cooperate sectors may prefer
to shift to teaching profession to give proper time to her family. MOREOVER,
THERE CAN BE TRAVELLNG AND DISTANCE ISSUES ALSO. BECAUSE OF
THIS A PERSON NEEDS TO CHANGE THE JOB TO ANOTHER FIELD IN
NEARBY AREAS.

In conclusion, although the change is the need of the time, however, it should
be in a limited sense. Change in job could be according to the needs of the
employees by considering many factors such as salary, time and distance.

2. Nowadays young people spend too much of their free time in

shopping malls.
Some people fear that this may have negative effects on young
people and the society they live in. To what extent do you agree or
disagree?

Teenagers, youngsters, youth, college going students

Community, masses, individuals,

Many people assert that the practice of spending too much time in shopping
centers could be detrimental for young people and the society as a whole. If
youngsters spend too much time on shopping centers, it can hurt not only
their grades but also their financial situation. This essay agrees with this
perspective and the relevant ideas will be elaborated in the subsequent
paragraphs.

When young people become obsessed with shopping, they will find themselves
in serious financial difficulties. Firstly, when young people waste excessive
time for shopping, they will do not have enough time to take part in other
meaningful activities such as reading books, playing sports or doing exercises.
Therefore, they may fall behind their study as well as their peers. Secondly,
they are likely to misspend a great deal of money on unnecessary items; this
may make them face financial troubles. For example, buying products without
planning may cause the shortage of money to pay for daily fees/ expenses like
water supply or electronic bills.

Excessive shopping also affects the society. It leads to excessive consumption

which is unfavorable for the environment. Also, when young people are
obsessed with spending, they will fall into the debt trap. This is bad for the
society as well. When they cannot find enough money to fulfill their shopping
goals or to pay off their debts caused by excessive shopping, youngsters may
get into illegal activities like robbery, shop lifting or even smuggling. Hence, it
has a negative effect on society as well.
In conclusion, although shopping is good, however, if young people spend an
excessive amount of time in malls, they will not have much time to focus on
their studies and they will also fall into debt. Obviously, this hurts them as well
as their society.
