To amend the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970
to repeal the Secretary’s authority to issue emergency
temporary standards, and for other purposes.

1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
3 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

4 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Reversing Every Vac-

5 cine Emergency Requirement and Stopping Employee
6 OSHA Mandates Act’’ or the ‘‘REVERSE OSHA Man-
7 dates Act’’.

1 SEC. 2. REPEAL OF EMERGENCY TEMPORARY STANDARD.

2 Section 6 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act

3 of 1970 (29 U.S.C. 655) is amended—
4 (1) by striking subsection (c); and
5 (2) by redesignating subsections (d) through (g)
6 as subsections (c) through (f), respectively.
7 SEC. 3. PROHIBITION ON STANDARDS SUBJECTING WORK-

8 ERS TO MEDICAL TREATMENTS.

9 Section 6 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act

10 of 1970 (29 U.S.C. 655) is amended by adding at the end
11 the following:
12 ‘‘(g) Nothing in this section may be construed to pro-
13 vide authority to require any drug (as defined in section
14 201(g)(1) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act)
15 or vaccine or other biological product (as defined in section
16 351(i)(1) of the Public Health Service Act) to be adminis-
17 tered to any employee.’’.
