Statement Of Purpose

Data Analytics is not just a way to the future but also a secret to a lucrative business. Our lives
revolve around IoT and Artificial Intelligence. With the increasing use of the internet,
enormous data can be analysed and help enterprises gain a competitive advantage.

In the initial years of my undergraduate program, I studied courses like Engineering

Mathematics, Data structures, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Computer Organization and
Systems Programming. These courses helped me gain a strong background in the fundamentals
of Computer Science. The laboratory courses aptly complemented these. The challenging
assignments that were a part of the laboratory courses helped me develop the required technical
and programming skills. In the last two years of my study, I took advanced courses like
Operations Research, Data Warehousing and Data Mining, Databases, C# Programming and
Computer Graphics.

After completing my undergraduate course, I got an opportunity to work for Harman

Connected Services, Tapchief and Scientific Games as a Quality Analyst. My work experience
turned out to be extremely enriching for me to improve my knowledge and better my skills. It
has inculcated in me team spirit and the ability to interact and work with colleagues and seniors
proactively. It has also helped me accept the challenges involved to expertise new domain and
technology, get familiarized to new concepts and has developed a sense of professionalism in
me. During this period, I got a chance to work closely with some business analysts, which
intrigued me to know more about data analysis and how crucial it is for a business to survive
in this competitive market. The more I researched, the more I got fascinated and this made me
intensify my knowledge. Now I am writing a statement in order to possibly earn a slot in your
formidable university for my master's education. I have decided to take up Masters in Business
Analytics, which will help me broaden my skills and knowledge towards my work
performance. The exposure and rigorous training in the discipline will stand me in good stead
in achieving my career goals.

I believe that your University is the right choice for me to enhance my technical skills and meet
the global market standards. I want to be a globally competitive graduate creating an impact in
the organisation I work for. With your exceptional faculty, course materials and facilities, I
know that a world of endless possibilities would unfold for me. This would also allow me to
gain real-time experience and groom me to be an exemplary business professional.
