Civic engagement individual and collective actions designed to identify and address issues of public

concern. Civic engagement can take many forms, from individual voluntarism to organizational
involvement to electoral participation.

Youths benefit from civic engagement, and also the society


as well. Youth engagement can lead to increased academic
performance and improved social-emotional well-being. It
helps young people build skills and networks that are valued
in the workplace, and can thus be a source of economic
mobility.

The practice of civic engagement has an important impact in


educating young people about their rights and
responsibilities as citizens and allowing them to develop skill
sets that are valuable to them as they undergo the transition
to adulthood

The three types of civic engagement are, economic which is a policy of deliberately expanding economic ties with an adversary
in order to change the behaviour of the target state and improve bilateral political relations it is a subject of growing interest in
international relations, example, investment insurance or promotion, access to technology, loans or economic aid. Political
which is a broad range of activities through which people develop and express their opinions on the world and how it is
governed, and try to take part in and shape the decisions that affect their lives, example, signing petitions, voting in elections,
participating in interest groups, running for office, protesting, and emailing government officials. Community the process of
working collaboratively with and through groups of people affiliated by geographic proximity, special interest, or similar
situations to address issues affecting the well-being of those people It is a powerful vehicle for bringing about environmental
and behavioural changes, examples, filling a volunteer shift at a local organization, creating social media tools for an
organization, or creating a community mural.
