KSW-628 HARDFACING OPEN ARC FLUX CORED WIRE

Applications A flux cored wire having complex carbide in a tough matrix, mainly used for
earthmoving equipment's bucket teeth, mixer blades, wear plates etc., where one
layer of surfacing is required.

Typical Weld Metal C = 5.0% Cr = 21.5%

Chemistry Mn = 1.5% Nb=6.3%
Si = 0.8%

Hardness (3 layers) 60-64 HRC

Polarity DC wire positive

Size 1.6 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm and 2.8 mm

Packing 12.5 kg spool sealed in polythene bag and shrink wrapped in a corrugated box.

2.4mm and 2.8 mm wires are available in 250 kg fibre drum for automatic welding.

Guidelines 1.6mm-2.0 mm 200 - 300A, 26-28 V
2.4mm-2.8 mm 250 - 400A, 27-29 V
