1.Assume: Select any industry of your choice. Assume you are a board member of a
company having
(i) net worth of INR 500 crore or more, or
(ii) turnover of INR 1,000 crore or more, or
(iii) net profit of INR 5 crore or more
during the immediately preceding financial year, are mandatory required to
constitute a CSR Committee
2. (i) Refer Companies Act, 2013, Schedule VI to know the areas in which CSR activities can
be initiated by the company
(ii) To develop a formal draft, you can take reference from Companies (Corporate Social
Responsibility Policy) Rules, 2014
(iii) Refer the provisions of Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 to make it published
either in company’s annual report or in company’s website
3. Refer annual reports/ details of CSR initiatives of any companies in the selected sector
