ART APPRECIATION

AT #7 Reflective Writing
Expected Output: Answers
Instructions: Reading through the different history of the different art movement, what
have you realized in terms of the influence of their social and political issues to the art
they have created?

By supporting contemporary political and ideological perspectives, art can contribute to

political discourse. Art, on the other hand, is frequently a disruptive form that is used to
alter current political and social realities. Art can be used to address political issues or to
reinterpret social structures. Art is frequently utilized to bring attention to overlooked
political topics. However, the importance of art in today's world is not limited to
addressing social injustices. Certain political alternatives to the present quo can be
supported and even created through art. Take, for example, environmental art.
Environmental artists contribute significantly to the environmental movement's goals,
whether through the creation of art using recycled and eco-friendly materials or by
advocating for reduced jet travel, meat consumption, garbage sorting, and energy
efficiency, among other things. They're looking for innovative ways to make art that
informs people about the dangers of the environmental catastrophe while
simultaneously suggesting strategies to mitigate and overcome it.
