Hi guy..

I don't know who needs to hear this; there is a popular saying that people usually use to
console themselves in times of trials or tribulations; that 'a destiny delayed isn't denial'. We all
believe that the challenges will pass and destiny is a condition foreordained by the Divine or by
HUMAN will". We believe that God will surely make his plans for our destiny be fulfill. Very true
but there is a huge 'BUT' in it. We tend to forget the HUMAN will.
Let me tell you a story I'm sure most of us know.
Two men set out to meet a fortune-teller, to enquire about their future. The fortune-teller told the
first man that he is destined to be wretched and become a miserable pauper. The man went away
dejectedly. He told the other man that he is destined to be great and he will become a king with the
power of all the world under his care. He went away happy. He called all his friends to celebrate
with him. They party morning and night everyday. The other man, went to his inherited land and
started clearing the weed declaring to himself; "I refuse to be poor".. He did this continually, he
planted different kind of food on it; watered it and was patient till it germinate.
The potential king was still merrying. Years later; there was a great famine in the society and
people were dying of hunger. The only person who had storage of food was the man destined to be
poor. He became their savior and he was made the king. Even the man destined to be the king
served under him. THE END.
I'm very sure that when the king to be was telling himself that "my destiny might tarry but it will
come to pass"... Hahahahahaha🤣.
My point so far is that sometimes a delayed destiny is an absolute DENIAL. If we don't work
towards achieving God's plans for our life.
You see.. we are like seeds, planted by God and fated to blossom but if the seed is tampered with
by enemies,( we relenting) it dries up. I know you would say God makes the seed to grow. Very
true but since our ancestor ate of the fruit of good and evil, we are able to identify right from
wrong; which gave us the freedom to choose; we are responsible for the choice we make. Truly
Jer. 29:11 says God's has good plans for us; but when we act like the man with a great destiny in
the story, we end up destroying God's plan for us.
Check yourself today; what exactly are you doing that will eventually lead to the destruction of
God's destined life for you?. Work on it, pray without ceasing, help God to help you; don't be
ludicrous like that man in the story, thinking God will come down from Heaven for you. Else you
will end up in the church shouting "I receive it"
A Destiny that is worked on rightly can be delayed but never be DENIED.
Have a wonderful and blessed time.
Debbie-Bright.
