WORKSHOP REPORT DJJ30082 (MACHINING)

ALL machine workshop report must be submitted INDIVIDUALLY for EACH machining project.
(**2 reports per student)

A) MACHINING PROJECT TITLE AND OBJECTIVES:

Project 1 Title: Lathe Operations
Objectives:
i. Operate lathe machine according to appropriate Standard Operation Procedure.
ii. Select spindle speed, feed and cutting tool appropriately.
iii. Perform stepped turning, fillet/shoulder cutting, chamfer cutting and groove cutting.
iv. Cut external metric thread on lathe machine.

Project 2 Title: Hexagon-head Bolt

Objectives:
i. Operate milling machine according to appropriate Standard Operation Procedure.
ii. Install indexing head on the milling machine table.
iii. Perform indexing on milling machine.
iv. Mill hexagon shape on a workpiece.
