I am so excited to give you a warm welcome to my beloved country. My name is Angie, me and my
family are so happy to share our humble home with you for the next six months.
I live with my mom and Dad, Ubiely and Willman, we don't know much things about New Zealand,
so we really want to meet you to share a cultural literacy which is the reason that we decide to
enroll in this program.
We don't know much about New Zealand, only the Haka, we know that is like a war dance, but
that’s all, we really want to know more, and how you live in one of the forest islands of the world,
we imagine many things.
Wanna know about my country? Well first I wanna tell you about of the weather, we have several
times of weather, sunny, cloudy and rainy, there is no snow, or yes, but it is in the moors, but the
most common weather is sunny. our people, which are hardworking and humble, and we have
many rivers, did you know that Colombia has paramos which produce sweet water? well, when
you have arrived, we are knowing many things. Too, you can go to Cartagena, Santa Marta and
Barranquilla which has the most beautiful beaches our country.
Festivals? Do you wanna go to the Carnivals? Well, we have the black and white carnival in Pasto
which is very cold because is located over the Andes Mountain.
