BANK EXAMS FAQ’S

How to choose bank preferences while filling the application form?

The candidates should select the bank preference they would like to and then further based
on total marks scored in IBPS exam and interview, candidates will be automatically allotted
to banks. They have to join that particular organization only.
The candidates should be aware of the fact that a bank officer is transferable and could be
posted anywhere in India in a duration of 5 years. So, there is no such guarantee for a
candidate to get the job in his/her region/ area/ state/ city for long. But as mentioned above
the more chances of allotment would be in the high density of branches area where the
headquarters of the bank is located.
So, the preference could be made for the bank whose branches are more in his/ her state.
By doing so the chances of getting the job as per their requirement might increase. So, this
is basically the preference based on the area/ region/ city/ state of your own choice.
What is the post that the candidate will land after clearing the bank exams?
