Agriculture and Service Sectors

National Productivity Organization (NPO) Pakistan is initiating Pakistan's 1 st Productivity Movement

through PSDP project titled "Improving Competitiveness through Sustainable National Productivity
(SNP)". SNP Key Activities are; Launch of Productivity Movement and Portal, Awareness Sessions,
Essay/Article Competition, Curriculum Development, Online Courses, Productivity Walk &
Productivity Competitions, National & International Conferences, Celebration of Productivity Week
and Awareness Campaign through Documentaries, Print and Social Media.
NPO is inviting Essays/Articles (Ideas/Proposals/Solutions) in both Urdu and English relevant to
enhancing productivity of either Industrial, Agriculture, and Services Sectors. These are two separate
competitions for Urdu and English submissions and corresponding 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for each will
be awarded.

1- Eligibility Criteria for the Participants:

i- Pakistani National
ii- Attached soft copy of CNIC with registration form
iii- Students, Teachers, Researchers from academia and industrial workers encouraged to
apply.
iv- NPO employees are not eligible.

2- Terms and Conditions:

i. Essays/Articles (Ideas/ Solutions/ Proposals) in both Urdu and English relevant to enhancing
productivity of either Industrial, Agriculture, and Services Sectors which must be;
 New Ideas/ Innovative
 Practicality (Within Policy Framework of Government)
 Conceived Impact of Ideas /Proposals/Solutions
 Relevancy to the either mentions sector (Industries, Agriculture and Services)
 Should cater new dimensions with innovative approaches,
 Deal with low productivity challenge faced by Pakistan’s economy
ii. Participant is required to fill NPO Essays/Articles (Ideas/Proposals/Solutions) submission form
available at NPO website www.npo.gov.pk/productivity-portal/
iii. Participant can participate in both English and Urdu at one time.
iv. Essays/Articles should be relevant topic not more than 1200 or less than 1000 words
v. Essays/Articles must not be copy paste.
vi. Participant is required to submit complete registration form along a copy of CNIC on or before of
Tuesday, March 15th, 2022 - 05:00 PM, through email snp@npo.gov.pk.

i- Use registration form and submit in PDF file for each essay (English / Urdu)
ii- Words: 1000-1200
iii- Font size: 12
iv- Font Style: Times New Romans for English and Calibri for Urdu
v- Line Spacing: 1.5

If two or more candidates qualify the same positions by the review committee, the prize money will be
distributed equally.
