- I choose clay because it’s available and easy to find in our town.
2. What contemporary product did you plan to create? Why?
- I plan to create Pot because it is porous and allow the heat and moisture to circulate evenly

other kinds of utensils. Also, meat prepared in clay pots remains juicy and tender.
3. Explain how each of the local materials will be used in your artwork.
- The clayey soil can be used to make pots because the clayey soil's intermolecular space is low
and it can get sticky when come in contact with water or get wet. As evaporation takes place
the pots made up of clayey soil can keep the water cool inside. And also I use paint to make the
pot colorful and look beautiful.
4. Which technique will you apply to achieve the desired outcome of your plan? Justify your
answer.
- Handbuilding is the technique I will be use because it is a ceramics technique that allows me to
create forms with clay and my hands, without using a throwing wheel.
