COVID-19 Hospital Managament System

ABSTRACT
In these difficult times, hospitals have played a crucial role in saving lives, but sometimes, due to the influx of patients
they are unable to communicate with various others regarding the services like availability of beds, ventilators, oxygen
tanks, vaccines due to the time taken to do so on call and limited availability of staff. What if the people could get to
know the availability of such services of their preferred hospital in an instance without needing to call the hospital
itself. This would allow the people to access this information anytime, anywhere also it will help in keeping the people
visiting hospital to minimum, resulting in proper social distancing, ultimately in proper functioning of the hospital
itself. To help in aid of this idea, we have tried to create a platform which will hold the services a particular hospital
can provide at any given time, which will be provided and updated by the hospital itself regularly without involving
any third person. This website can be accessed by anyone without ever needing to sign up.
I. INTRODUCTION
The main objective of the Project on Hospital Management System is to manage the details of Hospital, Doctors,
Patient, Employee, test. Availability of beds, ventilators, oxygen tanks, vaccines due to the time taken to do so on call
and limited availability of staff. The project is totally built at administrative end and thus only the administrator is
guaranteed the access. The purpose of the project is to build a Web Site so anyone can get the information about
Hospital, Doctors, Medicine and Patients online easily. It tracks all the details about the Patient, Employee, test,
Availability of beds, ventilators, oxygen tanks, vaccines.
II. METHODOLOGY
COVID-19 hospital management system needed a platform which could be accessed by everyone on any device,
needing minimal hardware and software requirements, thus, making this system in the form of a website was
decided. This website was created using various technologies and web languages.
Technologies used
[1] Front end
HTML: Page layout has been designed in HTML.

CSS: CSS has been used for all the designing part.
JavaScript : All the validation task and animations has been developed by JavaScript.

2] Back end
Python: All the business logic has been implemented in Python.

SQL Lite: SQL Lite database has been used as database for the project.
Django: Project has been developed over the Django Framework.
Django is a free and open source web framework.It is used by many sites, including Pinterest, PBS,
Instagram, BitBucket, Washington Times, Mozilla, and more!

III. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

Getting access to information regarding availability of various hospital services has gotten easier as the need to
call a specific person to request information regarding availability of hospital services is no longer needed
which doesn’t only save time but also the hassle. The website can be accessed by anyone without needing to
sign up which makes using the website easier for any age group.

IV. CONCLUSION
Our project is only a humble venture to satisfy the needs to manage their project work. Several user friendly coding
have also adopted. This package shall prove to be a powerful package in satisfying all the requirements of the school.
The objective of software planning is to provide a frame work that enables the manger to make reasonable estimates
made within a limited time frame at the beginning of the software project and should be updated regularly as the
project progresses.
