As soon as the project was presented, I knew I wanted to tie Dungeons and Dragons into it.

It’s
something I’m very passionate about and I find I work better with things I enjoy. I knew that I
wanted to make a Microsoft Sway, but I was a little torn on two topics involving Dungeons and
Dragons. In the end however, I decided Character Creation was best for a beginner player. It
was very easy to select the visual and textual information, as I’ve taught others how to do this
process before, so I knew what visual aids would be most beneficial. Being able to teach others
about something as technical as creating a Dungeons and Dragons character is very useful.
With the slow techniques I learned while making this project, I’m sure I’d be able to teach a new
hire how to do things they may not have known about before.

● Project Analysis: It was very helpful to think from my readers perspective during this
project. I can see this process being very useful when attempting to teach something to
someone who is brand new to an activity. Overall, it’s a very beneficial ability to have
learned.
● Visual Communication: Having visual aids can help to inform better. Without seeing
someone else complete a task, someone learning may struggle a lot more. What more,
having those steps laid out in a slow manner can be extremely helpful.
● Production and Delivery: After this project, I can say that large blocks of text are very
difficult to understand. You can lose your place, or get lost in the terminology. It is
essential to have the information being presented in an easy to read format, like bullet
points or lists.
