2022 ASPIRE Awards nominees announced

Over 150 employees were nominated for four awards

INDIANAPOLIS – Feb. 19, 2022 – 155 employees of OneAmerica have been nominated for
this year’s ASPIRE Awards. These employees have been nominated across four categories by
over 200 of their peers.
“We’re beyond excited about this year’s ASPIRE Awards,” said OneAmerica CEO Scott
Davidson. “It’s the highlight of every employee’s year, to be rewarded by their peers for their
hard work and that’s especially true this year after the rough year we’ve all had across the
globe.”
The Distinguished Achievement Award is open to any OneAmerica associate and recognizes
them for a body of work that has had substantial impact in the organization over a significant
period of time. Nominees must embody the ASPIRE values and have worked for OneAmerica
for at least seven years. This is the smallest category, as far as nominees goes, with only 20
associates nominated for the award.
“It means the absolute world to me to have been told that I was nominated by a peer for the
Distinguished Achievement Award,” said Marcie Rimmele. “Working at OneAmerica has been
amazing for the last decade, and I’m so proud of the work myself and my fellow nominees have
done to better the organization. At the end of the day, even if I don’t win the monetary gift, I’m
so honored to have been nominated in the first place.”
The other awards include the Outstanding Leadership Award, Excellence in Execution Award,
and Excellence in Partnership Award.
The honorees will be announced Wednesday afternoon at a celebratory event for all nominees.
