EN 10025-2 Steel Grade

This European Standard, a part of the BS EN 10025 series, specifies the technical delivery
conditions for flat and long products and semi-finished products which are meant for further
processing to flat and long products of hot rolled non-alloy quality steels in the grades and
qualities given in chemical composition tables and mechanical properties tables in the
delivery conditions. This standard does not apply to structural hollow sections and tubes.

Standard EN 10025-2: “Non-alloy structural steels” defines conventional structural steels

in three yield strength classes 275/355/420 MPa. Bozhong. manufactures all steel grades as

normalized in furnace of normalized rolled. Marking “AR” means that the delivery state is

Grade B Plate, S235 JR Plate, S275 JR Plate, S355 J2+N Plate,S355 J0+N Plate, S355 JR Plate,

“J2” – symbol -20 temperature impact test
“+N” – supply condition normalized or normalized rolled
