Concept Note
The event is a football tournament for junior doctors of
G.SV.M Medical college Kanpur.
Aim
The goal of this event is to provide a platform to Junior
Doctors to test their fitness and football skills and have some
fun time around in the evening.
Objective
The event will take place on the grounds of G.S.V.M Medical
College, and it will be promoted through local news channels,
newspapers, and social media platforms. The event will
feature eight hostel wings representing eight football clubs.
Each team must pay 20000 rupees to participate in the
competition. Each team will be got a unique colour jersey.
Individual prices will be announced after the conclusion of the
tournament.
Audience
G.S.V.M Medical College is in charge of the entire
tournament. To watch the tournament, one must be a G.S.V.M
student or a resident of the G.S.V.M housing society.
Measures
The event will follow all professional football rules, and a
football referee will be assigned to each game. Also, all the
matches will be held by following all the Covid norms.
Format
The tournament will feature eight football clubs divided into
two groups of four teams each. A total of two league matches
will be played for each team. The top two teams from each
group will advance to the knockout round. The tournament
winner will receive a cash prize of 50000 rupees, while the
runner-up team will receive a cash prize of 30000 rupees. The
player of the tournament from the winning team will receive a
cash prize of 5000 rupees.
Venue
The venue of the tournament will be G.S.V.M Medical
College ground.
Day, Date and Time
The event will start on 1st January and it will end on 10th
January.
