All words in the English language can be classified as one of the eight different parts of speech.

Understanding the different parts of speech is important in understanding how words can and should be
joined together to make sentences that are both grammatically correct and readable. An understanding
of the parts of speech is also important for knowing how to correctly punctuate sentences.
The eight parts of speech are nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, prepositions,
and interjections. 

And when we want to build a sentence, we use the different types of word. Each type of word has its
own job.

t's quite important to recognize parts of speech. This helps you to analyze sentences and understand
them. It also helps you to construct good sentences.

It is vital for any English writer to be familiar with the parts of speech in order to have the
terminology to study and analyze the language and identify mistakes in writing. Moreover, a
word can function as a different part of speech depend on its role in the sentence structure (the
terms of which are also vital for successful writing). This affect the word's meaning and
structure, making it important to confirm whether you are using the correct part of speech in the
correct position in the sentence.

A preposition is a word place before a noun or pronoun to structure a phrase modifying another
word in the sentence. Therefore a preposition is always part of a prepositional phrase. The
prepositional phrase almost always functions as an adjective or as an adverb.

A relational word is a word put before a noun or pronoun to structure a phrase modifying another
word in the sentence. In this way a preposition is constantly a part of prepositional phrase .The
prepositional phase quite often works as adjective or as an adverb.
