Hardware architecture of duw
The DUW consists of three main functional areas:

Base band processing resources
Radio interface
 Rbs 6102
 The main features of the RBS 6102 are the following:
- Supports GSM, WCDMA, and LTE.
- Complete RBS including transmission equipment and internal battery
backup.
- Can be equipped with various Digital Units (DUs) and Radio Units (RUs).
- Can be configured with up to 12 RUs and digital subrack with one Control
Base Unit (CBU) or up to three RUs and baseband cassette with one CBU.

 It is a small outdoor Base Station.
The Main Features includes :
• One Radio Shelf.
• Upto 6 Radio Units.

It consists of 1 MU (Main Unit) and multiple RRU’s (up to 12)
Up to 12 RRU’s can be connected/controlled by one MU.
RRU is kept close to the Antenna
Optimized to deliver high radio performance for efficient cell planning for
indoor and outdoor application.
