RECAP
1. distance
2. distance
3. displacement
4. displacement
5. distance
Distance is a scalar quantity that indicates "how much ground an item has covered" while moving.
Displacement is a vector quantity that describes "how far out of place an item is"; it represents the
object's total position change.
ACTIVITIES
Activity 1: Speedy

a. DISTANCE
b. TIME
c. MAGNITUDE
d. METER PER SECOND
e. SCALAR
2. Distance divided by time is the practical definition of speed. It's a scalar quantity, which implies
it solely possesses magnitude. The speed of an automobile is measured in meters per second.
Guide Questions:
1. Scalar quantity is a quantity with a magnitude only.
2. meter per second (m/s)
3. Speed is operationally defined as distance divided by time.
Closure:
1. Distance divided by time is the operational definition of speed. It's a number with a scalar
value. A scalar quantity has only one magnitude. The m/s unit of measurement is used to express
speed.
2. As far as I've read the module, I have a good understanding of the subject, thus I don't have any
questions. If given the opportunity, I would want to clarify how to solve the speed in a real-life
situation.

Speed Velocity
Guide Questions:
1. The rate at which an object moves is referred to as speed.
2. The pace at which an item changes its location is known as velocity.
3. The amount of speed is a scalar quantity, but the magnitude and direction of velocity are both
scalar quantities (vector quantity).
Closure:
1. The rate at which an object moves is referred to as speed. The pace at which an item changes
its location is known as velocity. Velocity is a vector quantity, whereas speed is a scalar variable.
2. As far as I'm aware of the distinctions between speed and velocity, I don't have any questions.
The notion it conveys has been apparent to my mind.

VALUING
I know how to
estimate how much I ask beforehand the
time any travel will location I need to go
take and how to reach it
I get everything
ready beforehand I set reminders
Reflection Questions:
1. I assess myself by comparing my actions to the module's requirements; this allows me to
quickly discover which attributes I possess and which I desire. Time has become increasingly
important to me as I've grown older, as seen by how quickly time has passed. We can better
manage our time this way.
2. Being on time allows me to maintain my cool, calm, and collected demeanor while also
demonstrating to the other person that you value their time. I have a few more minutes to go over
my case by being early, and I look more confident, composed, and in charge.
Closure:
1. I realized the value of time to each and every individual on the planet. Managing our time is
quite important. There are other options, but I am only familiar with a handful of them, therefore
reading this lesson has given me a better understanding of what time actually means.
2. Not just for clarification, but also to have a better understanding of time. Is there a technique to
learn on how to properly use time in terms of how we should value our time?
