CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATION

General Provision and Requirements

SECTION NO. 1 - SPECIFIC

1.1 SCOPE OF WORK:


The work covered under this contract shall include

1.1.1 Complete Construction – of the building including supervision labor and the supply of materials, equipment and services
necessary to properly conduct and produce the desired work product. Included herein are site preparation , concrete works,
masonry, carpentry, waterproofing, plumbing, painting and varnishing, finishes, clearing and all temporary works and structures
necessary for an efficient, smooth and up to date completion of the contract.

1.2 CONTRACT DRAWINGS


1.2.1 Details and extent of work are shown of in the drawings accompanying these specifications.

1.2.2 Sketches and other details not shown in plans shall be furnished by IPMC Architect during the pace of construction.

1.3 PARTS OF THE SPECIFICATION


1.3.1 These Specifications include the following parts whose applicable provisions are binding in this contract.

1.3.2 Work performed under any of the following parts of the specifications shall not be paid separately, but the cost thereof shall be
considered as having been included in the lump sum contract price.

1.3.3 The payment of the building permit and all other incidental fees necessary for the complete construction of the said project shall
be born by the Contactor.

1.3.4 These Specifications are intended to supplement the provisions of the General Building Code in order to provide the proper design
and construction. It is the duty of the Contractor to examine both carefully, compare and verify dimensions and data furnished by
the National Food Authority In case of discrepancy between figures and drawings, the matter should be immediately brought to
the Project Engineer/Architect before any adjustment shall be made by the Contractor.

SECTION NO. 2 – GENERAL CONDITIONS

2.1 WORKMANSHIP
2.1.1 All operations required under any and all parts of the specifications shall be undertaken in a neat, workmanlike manner. Only
skilled personnel with sufficient experience in similar operations shall be allowed to undertake the same.

2.2 WATER SUPPLY


2.2.1 The contractor shall provide at his own expense an ample supply of fresh water, sufficient for all construction purposes.

2.3 INSPECTION OF SITE


2.3.1 The Tender may deemed to have been based on data, regarding physical conditions at the sites. The Contractor acknowledges
and warrants that he inspected and examined the site and their surroundings and has satisfied himself by submission of his
Tender as to the nature of the work and materials necessary for the completion of the works, and the means of access to the
sites, the accommodation he may require, and that he has obtained for himself, all necessary information as to risks, contingencies
and other circumstances which may have influenced or affected his Tender. No increase in cost or extension of time will be
considered for failure to inspect and examine the site condition.

2.4 CHANGES
2.4.1 The Project Engineer/Architect reserves the right to make slight changes in details of works or materials as he may deem
advisable. These changes may include revision or modifications of shapes and dimensions of elements that may involve additional
expenses to the Contractor shall be covered by appropriate adjustment of the contract price.

2.5 CONFLICT BETWEEN PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS


2.5.1 Should there be any conflict between indications on drawings and provisions in specifications same shall be referred to the Project
Engineer/Architect of IPMC for his decision on the matter and whose opinion shall be final.

2.5.2 Any omission in the specifications of work or works to be undertaken but necessary for the completion of work, shall be undertaken
by the Contractor as If indicated on drawings, without extra compensation. Such works shall be done in the usual manner as
required as to quality of both materials and workmanship.

2.6 REJECTIONS
2.6.1 Materials or workmanship not in reasonable conformance with the provisions of these specifications shall be rejected at any time
during the progress of the work. The Contractor shall receive copies of reports of rejection of materials and workmanship mad e
by the authorized technical representative of IPMC. Any part of the work that has been done and is not of the quality required by
reasonable interpretation of the plans and specifications shall be torn down or removed immediately and rebuilt or otherwise
remedy such work in accordance with the requirements of the plans and specifications.

2.7 ESTABLISHED GRADE LINE AND PREPARATION OF SITE


2.7.1 The Contractor shall inspect and examine the individual site conditions. No increase in cost or extension of time will be considered
for failure to examine site condition. Control points and elevations will be furnished by the IPMC and the Contractor shall be
responsible for all other surveys and measurements required to accurately complete the work. Unless otherwise indicated by the
IPMC, Established Grade Line as shown in the drawing shall be the elevation thirty centimeters (30 cm) above the nearest street
center line elevation.

2.7.2 Care shall be taken to protect and maintain adjacent properties, trees, materials and such other facilities such as conduits, drains,
sewers, pipes and other wires that are to remain in the property. Restore without cost to IPMC all streets and road pavements ,
curbs, gutters, etc., that may be affected during the performance of work.

2.7.3 All unusable materials, and debris resulting from the performance of work shall be removed from the premises and salvageable
materials shall be hauled and stacked neatly by the contractor to the owner’s choice within the premises.

SECTION NO. 3 – CONCRETE AND MASONRY WORK

3.1 SCOPE
3.1.1 The work includes the furnishing of all plant, labor, equipment, appliances, and materials, and the performing of all necessary
operations in connection with concrete, masonry, and stucco works of the building.

3.2 MATERIALS
3.2.1 Concrete hollow blocks (CHB): size 4” x 8” x 16” and 6” x 8” x 16”.

3.2.2 Sand and gravel shall be well graded and free from any deleterious materials. These shall be washed.

3.2.3 All hollow blocks shall be of approved quality, sound, and free from cracks and other imperfections.

3.2.4 Cement and aggregates shall be stored in manner as to prevent their deterioration or the intrusion of foreign matter Materials of
deteriorated quality or which has been damaged shall not be used for concrete. Cement whose quality is questionable shall be
tested by standard mortar test to determine its suitability for use.

3.2.5 Mortar shall be workable cement – sand mixture attaining a 28 day compressive strength of 1500 psi.

3.2.6 Concrete Aggregates – Shall conform to “Specifications for Aggregates” (ASTM G33 latest revision). The maximum size of the
aggregates shall not be larger than one-fifth (1/5) of the narrowest dimension between sides of the forms of the member for which
the concrete is to be used not larger than three-fourth (3/4) of the minimum clear spacing between individual reinforcing bars and
in no case larger than two (2) inches in diameter.

3.2.7 Admixtures shall only be used on toilets slab and exposed cantilevered canopy and roof deck.

3.2.8 Reinforcing steel bars shall conform to ASTM designation A-615-68 specifications for structural grade.

3.2.9 Reinforcing steel bars for columns, beams, footing, pedestals walls, etc., shall be structural grade deformed bars. Ties and stirrups
for beams and columns as well as slab reinforcement may be plain bars unless noted in the plans or specified herein.

3.2.10 Forms shall conform to the shape, lines, and dimension of the members as called for on the plans, and shall be substantial an d
sufficiently tight to prevent leakage of mortar. They shall be properly braced or tied so as to maintain position and shape.

3.2.11 Plywood, metal, plastic materials or surfaced lumber forms shall be used where it will best give the most advantage in the specific
concrete work involved.

3.3 CONCRETE AND MASONRY WORK


3.3.1 Before placing reinforcement and before pouring concrete, remove all lose rusts, mill, scale, oil or other adhering materials which
tend to reduce or destroy band between concrete and reinforcement.

3.3.2 Reinforcing steel bars shall be cut, bent lapped or spliced as recommended by CRSI Handbook and ACI codes. Splices of tensile
reinforcement at point of maximum stresses will be allowed only when expressly authorized by the Infrastructure Project
Management Committee. Splices where permitted, shall provide sufficient lap (not less than 60 times the diameter of the bar for
deformed bars) to transfer the stress between bars by bond and shear, and shall be secured in place by the use of tie wires n ot
smaller than No. 18 gauge. Splices in adjacent bars shall be staggered.

3.3.3 Reinforcing steel bars shall be placed accurately and secured in place by use of concrete or metal supports, spacers or ties to
firmly hold them in their proper positions during pouring and setting of concrete.
3.3.4 Reinforcing steel bars shall not be bent or straightened in any manner that will injure the materials. Bars with kinks or bends shall
not be used.

3.3.5 Reinforcing steel bars shall have protective covering not less than three-fourths (3/4”) inches of concrete in slabs that are not
exposed to the ground; not less than one and half inches (1-1/2”), in beams, girders and columns, and not less than three inches
(3”) for footings on soil and six inches (6”) for footing on pile.
3.3.6 The minimum spacing between parallel reinforcing steel bars in a layer shall be the nominal diameter of the bar, 1-1/3 times the
maximum sizes of course aggregates and one inch.

3.3.7 Testing of reinforcing steel bars shall conform to ASTM designation of specified materials. Samples of materials for testing shall
be provided by the contractor without extra additional cost to IPMC. Likewise, the contractor shall pay for the cost of testi ng the
samples.

3.3.8 All horizontal reinforcements shall be tied to the vertical reinforcement at every intersection with No. 16 G.I. wire.

3.4 CONCRETE PROPORTION AND CONSISTENCY


3.4.1 CLASSES OF CONCRETE

To be used in any part of the building shall be enumerated hereunder. The following shall govern unless otherwise specified.

The unit of measure shall be the cubic foot. One bag of cement (188 lbs.) shall be considered as one cubic foot. Water shall be

measured as to insure the desired quantity of successive batches.

Measurement of materials for ready mixed concrete shall conform to standard specifications for ready mixed concrete, ASTM
Designation C-94, where applicable.

3.4.3 MIXING CONCRETE

All concrete shall be machine-mixed except in emergencies such as mixer breakdown during pouring operations where it shall
be done by hand and shall stop at the first allowed construction joint. The time mixing after all cement and aggregates are in the
mixer drum shall not be less than one minute for mixers of having a capacity of one cubic yard or less; for mixers of larger
capacities the minimum time shall be increased 15 seconds for each additional cubic yard or fraction thereof or additional capacity.
All mixing water shall be introduced in the drum shall rotate at a peripheral speed about 200 feet per minute throughout the mixing
period. The entire contents of the mixer drum shall be discharged before recharging. The time elapsing between the introductions
of the mixing water the cement and aggregates and placing of the concrete in final position in forms shall not exceed 45 minutes.
The retempering of concrete, i.e. mixing with additional cement, aggregate or water shall be permitted.

3.4.4 CONVEYING AND PLACING OF CONCRETE

3.4.4.1 Concrete shall be conveyed forms as rapidly as practicable, by methods which shall prevent segregation or loss of
ingredients. There shall be no free vertical drop greater than 1.5 meters. Approval of IPMC shall be obtained before
starting any concrete pour. Concrete shall be worked readily into corners and angles of the forms and around all
reinforcement and embedded items by depositing the concrete as close as possible to its final position in the forms
and consolidating it with the aid of mechanical vibrating equipment, supplemented by hanspading and tamping. In
no case shall vibrators be used to transport concrete inside the forms. Vibrating equipment shall be in the internal
type and not to be overdone to cause segregation of particles and disturbance of setting concrete but just enough
to produce an even heterogeneous distribution of ingredients.

3.4.4.2 Dumping concrete into cars or buggies with free fall or more than three (3) feet will not be permitted. Hardened or
partially hardened splashes or accumulations of concrete on forms or reinforcement shall be removed before the
work proceeds. In case the rate of pouring is such as to allow splashes or accumulations to harden, concrete shall
be placed with a flexible spout attached to a suitable hopper. Spouts and hoppers are provided to maintain the
surface of the concrete as nearly level as possible at all times.

3.4.4.3 All chutes, troughs, spouts, hoppers, and pipes shall be kept clean and free from coating of hardened concrete by
thoroughly flashing with water after each run, water used for flashing shall be discharged clear of the structure.

3.4.4.4 When placing operations would involve dropping the concrete more than 1-1/2 meter, it shall be deposited through
sheet metal or other approved pipes. As far as practicable, the pipes shall be kept full of concrete during placing
and their lower ends shall be kept buried in the newly placed concrete. After initial set of the concrete, the forms
shall not be jarred and no strain shall be placed on the ends of reinforcing bars which project.

3.4.4.5 Where concrete is conveyed by chutting, the plant shall be such size and design as to insure a practically continuous
flow in the chute. The angle of the chute with the horizontal shall be such as to allow the concrete to flow without
separation of the ingredients. The delivery end of the chute shall be as close as possible to the point of deposit. The
chute shall be thoroughly flushed with water before and after each run. The water used for this purpose shall be
discharged outside the forms.

3.4.4.6 Construction Joints – If possible, concreting shall be done continuous until section is complete. When stoppage of
concrete operations occurs construction joints shall be placed either horizontally or vertically as indicated by the
IPMC and provided with shear keys or dowels to develop bond. Construction joints shall be as per plan or shall be
approved as directed by the IPMC.

3.4.4.7 The Contractor shall not place any concrete until IPMC inspects and approves the conditions of forms, reinforcement
and embedments.

3.4.4.8 Measurement and Payment – For reduction or additions, on the contract sum due to deletion or extra involved, cast-
in-place concrete shall be measured in cubic meter and payment shall be based on the actual volume using the unit
prices on the proposal form.
3.5 CURING
3.5.1 All concrete shall be moist cured for a period of not less than seven (7) consecutive days by an approved method of combination

applicable to local conditions. Surface of the concrete shall be kept continuously wet by covering with water, by continuously
spraying, or by covering with burlap or other approved materials thoroughly intermittent hosing. Water for curing shall be free from
any elements which might cause objectionable staining or discoloration of the concrete.

3.6 REPAIR OF CONCRETE

3.6.1 Imperfections

3.6.1.1 Repairs shall be completed within 24 hours after removal of forms.

3.6.1.2 Fins shall be nearly removed from exposed surfaces.


3.6.1.3 Damaged or honeycombed concrete must be removed to reach shound concrete and should be replaced with
drypack, rich mortar or concrete with pea gravel.

3.6.1.4 Voids which appear upon the removal of forms shall be drenched with water and immediately filled with materials
of the same composition as the used in the surface and smooth with a wood spatula or float.

3.6.2 Large Bulges

Where present, large bulges and abrupt irregularities that protrude, shall be removed by bushing, hammering and grinding.

3.6.3 All materials, procedures, and operations used in the repair of concrete shall be approved by the IPMC.

3.6.4 The cost of all material, labor and equipment used in the repair shall be borne by the Contractor.

3.7 CONCRETE SLAB ON FILL


Concrete slabs on fill shall be laid on a prepared foundation consisting of a sub-grade and granular fill with thickness equal to the thickness
of overlaying slab except as indicated otherwise. Sub-grade shall be rolled, rammed, or tamped layer by layer to a thoroughly compacted
foundation. Granular fill shall consist of sound gravel, well grade and of a size that will pass a 1-1/2 inch diameter ring and will be retained
on a No. 4 screen. Gravel fill shall be without organic material and debris and shall be compacted to provide a unyielding base. Concrete
slab on fill on general storage area and platform shall not be less than 6” thick and all other areas will not be less than 4” thick.

3.8 CEMENT FINISH FOR CONCRETE SURFACES


a) All concrete surfaces including those indicated as “Cement Plaster” on drawings (other than floors, steps, walks, or surfaces where
other applied finish is required like brick facing synthetic marble, rubble works, etc., in all interior walls and other concrete surfaces
without specific finish, shall be given a finish done and in accordance with the following provisions.

1. Immediately after the removal of forms, all projecting wires and bolts, or other devices used for trying forms, shall be cut off at
least one-half (1/2) centimeter beneath the finished surface. All hole, voids, depressions and other defects shall be thoroughly
wetted and then pointed up soil with cement mortar putty of the same proportion as the mortar used in the body of the wo rk. All
exposed surfaces shall be treated in such a manner as to effectively elaborate, all lines, projections and marks impressed by the
lumber for wood forms, to the general plan of the concrete surface.

2. Rubbed Finished: Unless otherwise specified, a rubbed finish shall be applied to all exposed concrete surfaces, concrete surfaces
shall be wetted immediately after the forms are removed and then rubbed even and smooth with carborundum brick or other
abrasive to a uniform appearance without the application of any cement or other coating before the surface has hardened.

b) CONCRETE SURFACE WITH APPLIED FINISHED REQUIREMENT

Upon removal of forms for concrete surfaces where glass and marble washout finish, rubble work finish, synthetic marble finish, granite
finish, stucco, plaster, tile, terrazzo or cement base, or any other applied finish is requires, said concrete surfaces shall be roughened
further with a pick or similar tool to remove laitance, loose particle, and anything which would prevent bond, then c leaned thoroughly
with hose water. The concrete surface must be kept wet for four (4) hours before the required finish is applied.

3.9 CONCRETE FLOORS AND STEPS ON FILL OR ON GROUND


a. Concrete Doors and steps on fill shall be laid on a prepare foundation which shall be placed as follows:

b. The earth or sand fill shall be laid to a uniform grade as shown on drawings, twenty one (21) centimeters below the elevation of the
finished doors, being placed in layers being thoroughly wetted and rolled or tamped. Said fill shall be made as soon as the concrete of
the walls and foundations has set sufficiently to permit same.

c. On top of this fill shall be placed ten (10) centimeters layer gravel which shall be rolled or tamped.

d. All of these sand and gravel foundations specified above shall be kept wet for at least thirty (30) days after rolling or tamping so as to
allow settlement before the floors are placed.

e. Concrete doors shall be laid in alternate strips about one (1) meter in width by six (6) meters maximum length, but following pattern
shown on drawings. The construction joints shall coincide with the V-grooves in case such lines are called for in cement finish. After
the concrete has set, the terns shall be removed and the remaining strips laid.

f. All concrete shall be of such consistency as to required tamping to bring the water to the surface. Tamping shall be done with the least
ten (10) centimeters square-faced tampers.

g. Concrete doors and stops fill or on ground shall be reinforced with 3/8” bars spaced at 16 inches on centers each way whether shown
on drawings or not. Where different reinforcement is shown, follow size and spacing on plan.

3.10 INSPECTION
3.9.1 Concrete shall be proportional, mixed, and placed in the presence of IPMC inspector, ample notice shall be given before mixing is
commenced.

3.11 TEST OF CONCRETE


3.11.1 Reasonable number of tests on the concrete may be required by the IPMC during the progress of the work. Not less than four
(4) cylindrical specimens shall be made or each test of which at least two (2) shall be reserved for the 28 days test. Sample s
shall be secured and molded in accordance with “METHOD OF SAMPLING CONCRETE” (ASTM DESIGNATION C-172) AND
METHOD OF MAKING AND CURING CONCRETE COMPRESSION AND FLEXURE TEST SPECIMENS IN THE FIELD (ASTM
DESIGNATION C-21). The contractor shall provide the samples to be taken at the place deposit and as specified by the IPMC,
without cost to IPMC. The contractor shall take care of transporting the samples to the approved testing laboratory without cost
to IPMC.

3.11.2 To conform to the requirements of these specifications the average strength of test samples representing each class of concrete
shall be equal to or greater than the specified strength and not more than the one strength test in 10 shall have an average value
less than 90 percent of the specified strength.

3.12 FAILURE OF TEST SAMPLES


3.12.1 In case of failure of Test Cylinders to meet the specified strength, the contractor may at his expense, obtain concrete core
samples from the poured, concrete and the compressive strength of the same to be taken by competent testing authority to
determine the conclusive strength and integrity of the concrete poured. Coring shall be done in a manner which shall make
possible satisfactory replacement of cored samples. To determine adequacy of the affected parts, the IPMC shall have the
option to order load test on parts of the structure where concrete strength tests are below 80% of the strength specified.

These tests shall be in accordance with ACI-63 recommendations and costs shall be borne by the contractor. Poured concrete
with strength less than the required by the specification shall be demolished and provided with an acceptable replacement at
the contractor’s expense.

3.12.2 Should the tests fail to give the required strength, the IPMC shall have the right to order a change in the proportions or in the
procedure or curing of the concrete for the rest of the structure.

3.13 CONCRETE HOLLOW BLOCKS


3.13.1 Concrete Hollow Blocks shall be thoroughly wetted with water and bedded-in and cemented together with mortar. All blocks
shall be laid plumb, true to line with level and accurately spaced courses with each course breaking joints with the course below.
Horizontal and vertical mortar joints shall be 3/8 inch thick with full mortar average on the face shells and of the webs surrounding
the cells to be completely filled. All block joints shall be struck flush to a smooth even surface. Provide reinforcements as shown
or specified and completely fill the cell with mortar to completely encase the reinforcement. Mortar shall be Portland Cement
Mortar, (1:2) well mixed in a clean mechanical mixer with only sufficient water to produce the required plasticity.

3.13.2 Vertical and horizontal reinforcements shall be provided and hollow comes where such reinforcements run through shall be full
filled with Class A concrete. Unless otherwise indicated in the drawings, reinforcement shall consist of No. 3 vertical bars spaced
at 39 inches on centers and No. 3 horizontal bars space not more than 21 inches on centers securely anchored to columns or
frames.
3.13.3 Mortar for joints and finishing plaster shall consist of one (1) part cement, (2) parts of sand, and minimum amount of water.
Mortar joints shall be 3/8”.

3.13.4 Prior to laying, blocks shall be uniformly moistened but not soaked, joints shall be neatly trowelled and scraped of excess
mortars.

3.14 WATERPROOFING
3.14.1 Canopy (40 mils) and roof deck (50 mils) shall be provided with Chevron Industrial Membrane (CIM) System, Two component, liquid
and cold applied elastomeric water proofing. All exterior marble chips washout plastering was done apply oasis transparent

waterproofing (by Pace International).

3.15 ROOF DRAIN – Roof drain shall have ease iron body, installed in location indicated on the plans. Drains shall be provided with flashing
clamp device for making watertight connections with water proofing membrane, unless otherwise specified.

3.16 GUARANTEED – The contractor shall guarantee that the work specified in this section will be free from defects of materials and
workmanship and leakage for a period of five (5) year from the date of compaction (final acceptance). This obligates the contractor to
make good the defective work.

The following types of failures will be adjudged as defective work:

1. Leakage

2. Peeling of waterproofing materials

3. Delamination of plies

SECTION NO. 4 – CARPENTRY AND JOINERY WORKS


MILLWORKS AND LUMBER

4.1 SCOPE
The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, plants, transportation, appliances and services necessary to complete all rough and
finish carpentry and mill work shown on the drawings or herein specified.

4.2 GENERAL
Lumber shall be well seasoned, dry and free from large knots, snaps, shakes or other imperfections that may impair its strength, durability
or appearance. All exposed wood work shall be smoothly dressed and well sand-papered.

All mouldings shall be mitered at corners and copped at angles.

Factory made doors, transoms, and windows, completely assembled with a sash fitted in place, shall be used upon approval.

4.3 KINDS OF LUMBER


NARRA – Handrails, mouldings and all other woodwork indicated on plan.

GUIJO OR YAKAL – Door jambs and all other lumber embedded in concrete.

TANGUILE – Sidings, base studs, facia boards, ceiling joist hangers, wood floors studio and nailers, mouldings, mullions and all other
woodwork not specified herein.

APITONG – Trusses, purlins and floor joists.

4.4 FRAMES
All framings of doors and windows shall be done, as much as possible with carefully fitted mortise and tennon joints. Frames shall rabbeted
and cut with under cuts for water drips.

4.5 MISCELLANEOUS WOODWORK


All other items of wood work nit mentioned in the specifications not included in those items specifically excluded from the building
construction, and needed to complete woodwork, shall be done in accordance with shop drawings and to be furnished later.

4.6 CEILING
Interior ceiling shall be ¼” thick marine plywood on 2”x2” ceiling joist spaced at 16” O.C. one way and 24” O.C. the other way.

4.7 TRAP DOOR


Provide a 2”x2” trap door which must be properly framed to appear as much as possible a part of the ceiling. The trap shall be properly
hinged to the ceiling joist and shall be located as shown in the drawings or as directed by the Project Engineer/Architect.

SECTION NO. 5 – PLUMBING AND DRAINAGE SYSTEM

5.1 SCOPE OF WORK


The works include the following;

- Supply / replace all exposed PVC downspouts


- Repair / construction of selected drainage system

5.2 GENERAL
All works as described herein shall conform to the Bureau of Health and the National Plumbing Code.
All PVC pipes shall be Atlanta brand series 1000 or equivalent.

5.3 PERFORMANCE TEST
It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to test all system of the entire plumbing installation for proper operational condition. The test
shall be conducted in the presence of the IPMC Project Engineer/ Architect.

SECTION NO. 6 ROOF FRAMING

6.1 SCOPE OF WORK


The work consists of furnishing all labor, tools equipment, appliances, and materials and the performance of all operations relative to the
fabrication, delivery to site, erection and painting structural steel, complete as required and specified.

6.2 REQUIREMENTS
All structural work shall be in accordance with AISC SPECIFICATION FOR THE DESIGN, FABRICATION AND ERECTION OF Structural
Steel or buildings, Materials, and parts necessary to complete each item, through such work not shown or specified shall be included,
such as miscellaneous bolts and anchor supports, braces and connections etc. Shop drawings as well as erection drawings shall be
submitted by the contractors for approval by the IPMC before any fabrication is made.

6.2.1 SHOP DRAWINGS

Shop drawings, giving complete information necessary for the fabrication of the component parts of the structures, including
the location, type and size of all rivets bolts and welds, shall clearly distinguish between shop and field rivets bolts and
welds.

Shop drawings shall be made in conformity with the best modern practice and with due regard to speed and economy in
fabrication and erection.

6.3 ROOF COVERING


6.3.1 ROOF SHEETS

All roofing sheets and accessories should be Union steel Roofing or equivalent.

Sheets shall be laid with end laps as indicated on the drawings, the minimum end lap shall be 30m and the minimum side
lap shall be 21/2 corrugations wide. G.I. shall be riveted to the purlin at every alternate corrugation.

Straps shall be gauge 24 plain iron of local manufacturer with a speller coating of 1.25 per square foot. Straps shall be cut
to 1” strips and sufficiently long, with corners cliffed off at the riveting ends. These shall be bent around the purlins and
riveted to the sheets. Straps shall be punched at correct distances to fit the size of the rivets holes and allow fo r bending
around the required size of purling. One strap shall be placed at each alternate corrugation at the gutter line. The lower end
of each sheet shall be riveted to the sheet beneath through the top of every fourth corrugation such rivets to alternate with
the rivets engaging the straps. All rivets shall be placed on top of corrugation to prevent the water standing around the
rivets. Riveting shall be done with soft galvanized iron rivets with one galvanized iron washer above the sheet. Rivets shall
be sufficiently long to permit a hemispherical head.

6.3.2 RIDGES, VALLEYS, AND HIPS

For all ridges, valleys, and hips, provide ridge rolls and valley rolls of gauge 24 plain galvanized iron sheets, of local
manufacturer and with speller coating of 1.25 ounces of zinc per square foot. All joints shall be applied with silvereaf roof
coating.

Ridge rolls shall lap at least 30 m. over the roofing sheets. The ridge rolls shall be riveted to the roofing sheets at every
fourth corrugation, alternating with the rivets engaging the straps.

Hip rolls shall lap at least 30 m. over the roofing sheets. The hip rolls shall be riveted to the roofing sheets at every alternate
corrugation.

6.3.3 FLASHINGS

The intersection of all roofs with vertical walls shall be flashed with galvanized iron sheets, gauge 26, not less than 8” high
an all connections shall be made water tight.

For corrugated sheets whose corrugations run parallel to the walls, one wing of the flashing sheets shall be corrugated to
match the corrugations of the roofing sheets and shall be wide enough to cover at least 3 corrugations.

SECTION NO. 7 – STEEL LADDERS


(Fire Escape)

7.1 Work included – furnish all labor, materials, equipment and other facilities for the satisfactory performance of all work necessary to

complete the fire escape ladder.

7.2 Materials
All structural steel shapes and plates shall conform to ASTM A-36 steel and shall have a minimum thickness of 3/16” (4.762 MM.)

Welding electrodes shall conform to AS.1 or AS.5 E70 xx electrodes.

1 ½” Ø SS Pipe shall be used for fire escape ladder.

Bolts and nuts for main members shall be high strength bolts conforming to ASTM A-35. Bolt shall have mark or identification that it is
such a kind of bolt. For secondary members ASTM A.307 bolts may be used. Care shall be taken so that, different types of bolts do not
get interchanged. All bolts shall be provided with plain washers.

7.3 FABRICATION
Field fabrication shall be kept to a minimum and shop fabrication shall be employed to the greatest possible with members shop fabricated
as long as practicable with a minimum requirement for fields connection. Welding, shearing, gas cutting, chipping and all other work
involved in the fabrication of structural steel shall be done with accuracy and of the highest quality of workmanship, within the allowable
tolerance prescribed in the AISC specifications.

7.4 QUALITY CONTROL PROCEDURES


Shall be practiced by the Fabricator to assume high quality in the work. In addition to the Fabricator’s quality control procedures, materials
and workmanship shall be subject to inspection by qualified inspectors representing the IPMC. Fabricator shall cooperate harmoniously
with the Inspector to avoid interruption in the work, when correction will be needed.

SECTION NO. 8 – DOORS AND WINDOWS

8.1 SCOPE OF WORK


The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, tools, and services necessary to complete all work herein specified and shown
on drawings.

8.2 STEEL WINDOWS


A. Type: Window types will be as shown on the Schedule of Doors and Windows or specified on the Schedule of Specifications.

B. Materials and Construction. Window members will be not rolled nor billet steel of shapes and sizes as per manufacturer’s
specifications. All corners of frames and ventilators shall be mitered and electrically but welded. Double full contact weathering will
be provided between vents and frames.

C. Hardware and Operation. All hardware and other attachments necessary to insure proper operation of ventilators shall be as per
manufacturer’s specifications. These must affect tight closure of vents when locked. Locking handles, catches keepers, etc. shall be
bronze lacquer finish.

D. Glazing. Windows shall be designed for glazing from the outside with steel casement putty and spring wire glazing clips.

8.3 DIMENSIONS TO BE VERIFIED


All dimensions of openings as shown on drawings must be verified by the contractor at jobsite before fabrication of doors and windows.

8.4 DOORS
Where so shown on drawings, doors shall be of the following type unless otherwise specifically noted in the Schedule of Specifications.

A. Anolok entrance swing doors with necessary locks and door closes and other extruded metal frames.

8.5 GLASS AND GLAZING

8.5.1 SCOPE OF WORK

The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, tools and services necessary to complete the glazing work herein
called for and shown on drawings.
8.5.2 MATERIALS

Glasses to be assigned to the different portions of the work shall be of types and thickness as noted in the Schedule of
Specifications and as indicated on drawings.

8.5.3 PUTTY AND INSTALLATION OF GLASS

Glass in steel sashes shall be bedded and back-puttied and held in place with at least four (4) glazing clips per line. Glass for
steel doors shall be set in putty and firmly held in place with stops.

8.5.4 GLAZING

Unless otherwise called for on drawings or specifically noted in the schedules of specifications glazing with normal 7/32” th ick
double-strength glass shall be limited, to openings or panels of not more than six (6) square feet in area.

8.6 EXTRUDED ALUMINUM DOORS AND FRAMES

8.6.1 GENERAL. All aluminum entrance doors, frames side lights, toplights, (transom) and related work shall be completely factory
pre-fabricated units.

8.6.2 MATERIALS: All extrusions shall be 6063-T5 alloy flat or formed sheet shall be No. #32 and/or 100 alloy and all casting shall be
43S alloy.

8.6.3 CONTRUCTION

Frames and doors shall be factory pre-fabricated entrance units constructed of fully extruded aluminum sections of design and
dimensions as shown. All joints in the frame shall be factory made, securely reinforced, weathered and joined by beams of
concealed fastenings whenever possible.

Doors stiles and rails be securely joined by means of concealed aluminum bracket and ¼” diameter steel tension rod which can
be lightened on both ends.

The removable section of the extruded aluminum glazing stops shall be on the interior side of all doors. An adjustable setting
block shall be furnished in the head rail for clearance adjustments after glazing and pile cloth weather-stripping shall be installed
in the stiles of all center hung doors and in the meeting rails of all pairs of doors.

8.6.4 SHOP DRAWINGS: Provide shop drawings for approval by the IPMC prior to factory fabrication.

8.6.5 FINISH: All aluminum materials used in the fabrication of the entrance units and frames shall be anodized in anolok 13 finish.

8.6.6 PROTECTION: The contractor shall protect all aluminum in this section coming in contract with dissimilar metals and materials
by application of asphaltum paint.

It shall be the General Contractor’s responsibility to protect the exposed surfaces of all installed aluminum work against staining
during construction.

8.6.7 CLEANING: The General Contractor shall be responsible for the cleaning of all aluminum work upon the completion of the
building.

Factory pre-fabricated units shall be within the limits of transportation facilities, shipped intact for field installation by authorized
installers, installation shall be in accordance with procedure recommended by the doors and frames manufacturer.

SECTION NO.9 – PAINTING, VARNISHING & OTHER FINISHES

9.1 GENERAL
The manufacturer’s painting specifications for Davies paints shall be considered part of these specifications.

9.2 SCOPE OF WORK


The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials and services required to complete the entire painting work herein called for.
Painting work shall include the painting of all interior and exterior masonry work, wood work, metal work, mill work, wallboards, etc. as
specified hereinafter and required thereto.

The Contractor shall furnish all tools, brushes, spraying equipment, tackles, scaffolding, ladders, pails, and other equipment required to
complete the entire painting work.

9.3 WORKMANSHIP
A. All work shall be done by skilled painters in a workman like manner by being brushed or sprayed on the surfaces. All paints etc.,
shall be evenly applied so as to be free from sags, runs, crawls, or other defects. All coats shall be minimum brush marks. A ll
brushes shall be clean and in good condition, heavy brushes are preferred.

B. All paint shall be thoroughly stirred so as to keep the pigment evenly in suspension when paint is being applied.

C. No painting shall be done under conditions that are unsuitable for the production of good results. No oil painting shall be d one in
damp weather.

D. All coats shall be thoroughly dry before the succeeding coat is applied. Allow at least twenty-four (24) hours between coats unless
otherwise specified by the manufacturer.

E. Painting coats are specified and intended to cover surfaces perfectly if surfaces are not fully covered, further coats shall be applied
to attain the desired evenness of the paint application.

9.4 MATERIALS
A. All paints and painting materials shall be Davies or equivalent.

B. All paint materials shall be delivered at the site in their original containers, with labels intact and seals unbroken.

C. With the exception of ready-mixed materials in original containers all mixing shall be done at the jobsite. No materials are to be
reduced or changed except as specified by the manufacturer of said materials. The use of white zinc (lithophones) will not be
allowed.

D. A place will be designated by the IPMC for the storage of paint materials and tools. Whenever it may be necessary to change the
location of his storage space, the contractor shall promptly move to the newly designated place. The storage space floor shall be
adequately protected from damage and from paint. Paint shall be kept covered at all time and safeguarded to prevent fire.

9.5 COLORS
All colors of paints and varnishes shall be in accordance with color scheme as approved by the IPMC.

Samples of the color to be used shall be submitted and those approved shall be strictly followed. No painting shall be starte d before
these color schemes are approved by the IPMC.

9.6 PROTECTION
A. The contractor shall protect the work of all other trades against damage or injury by his employees, or by his material, tools or
utensils used in connection with this Contract. Any damage done by him or his employees shall be repaired at his own expense,
without any additional compensation beyond the contract price.

B. The Contractor shall be held responsible for repairs to his own or other work made necessary by the defective workmanship or
carelessness of other crafts.

C. Any under damage to any part or parts of the structure of adjacent buildings caused by the Contractor during the execution of the
work shall be made good by the Contractor at his own expenses. All floors, other surfaces and equipment shall be protected during
the painting operations by a liberal use of painter’s drop clothes.

9.7 CLEANING
A. Upon completion, the Contractor shall remove from the building all materials and debris created by him, leave his part of the work
in a clean and finished condition acceptable to the Owner. Washing and polishing of the window glass, and all other glazing work
shall be done by him.

B. Protect all electric plates, surface hardwares, etc. during the painting operations.

9.8 PREPARATION OF SURFACES


A. Before applying painter’s finish, all surfaces must be thoroughly dry, free from dust, grease, and dirt and properly prepared to
receive finish.

B. No painting shall be done at any time unless the surface to be treated is in thoroughly dry. The contractor shall inspect all surfaces
to be painted and shall report all defects therein to the IPMC before starting painting. The IPMC will cause these defects to be
remedied. The commencing of the work by the contractor indicated his acceptance of the surfaces to be painted.

C. Wood surface shall be sand papered to as smooth, even surface duster. Blemishes on surfaces to be varnished shall be corrected.
After primer stain coat all cracks and nail holes shall be filled with putty. Putty used in stained work shall match the stained wood.
D. Brick, stucco, and concrete surfaces shall be free from excess mortar. Treat surfaces with Davies Masonry Neutralizer #44,
brushing surface free of loose crystals when dry. New plaster must be allowed to dry thoroughly, usually requiring at least thirty
(30) days before painting. Damaged places in walls must be repaired with plastic patch-deep holes with matching plaster.

E. Galvanized metal surfaces, except where special treatment is specified, shall be thoroughly cleaned and treated with solfo-metallic
coating of four (4) ounces of copper sulphate mixed in a gallon of water. These solutions shall remain on surfaces not less than
twelve (12) hours and then be dusted with stiff fiber, bristle brush.
F. Metal surfaces shall be cleaned free o mill scale, rust and foreign matter by scrapping flame cleaning, sand blasting or wire
brushing. Any grease shall be removed with Napths. Loose and scaling paint shall be scraped and wire-brushed to sound metal
surface.

SECTION NO. 10 -ELECTRICAL WORK

10.1 GENERAL SPECIFICATION


Work covered by this specification shall include furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services required to construct and install
the complete electrical system shown on accompanying plans and specified herein. All work shall be in accordance with the gov erning
codes and regulations and with the specifications, except when same shall conflict with such codes, etc., in which case the latter shall
then govern.

10.2 WORK INCLUDED


Under this section of the Specifications, the Contractor shall provide all materials and equipment and perform all the work necessary for
the complete execution of all the electrical work as shown on the Electrical Drawings as herein specified; except as otherwise excluded,
and which without excluding the generality of the foregoing, shall include but not be limited to the following principal items of work.

a. A complete wiring for the exteriors and interiors lighting and power system, including all feeders, branch circuit and connections to
all lighting and power outlets, motors and appliances.

b. All general lighting fixtures and lamps

c. Complete testing of all electrical system.


d. Optional items of work.

e. If anything gas been omitted in any items of work on materials usually furnished, which are necessary for the completion of the
Electrical Works as outlined herein before, then such must be and are hereby included in this Section of the work.

10.3 CODES, REGULATIONS AND ORDINANCES


The electrical items under this contract is to be installed according to the requirements of the latest Philippine Electrical Code, the rules
and regulations of the Authority concerned and the requirements of the Power Company. Nothing contained in these specifications or
shown on the drawings shall be construed as to conflict with the National and Local Ordinances or Laws governing the installa tion of
electrical work, and all laws and ordinances are hereby made part of these specifications. The contractor is required to meet the
requirements thereof.

10.4 PLANS AND DRAWINGS


The Contract Drawings, which constitute an integral part of this contract, shall serve as working drawings. They indicate the general
layout of the complete electrical system and show arrangements of feeders, circuits, outlets, switches, control panel boards, service
equipments, fixtures and other works.

The electrical contractor shall check architectural, structural and plumbing plans to avoid possible installation conflicts. Should drastic
changes from original plans be necessary to resolve such conflicts, the contractor shall notify the IPMC and shall secure from him written
approval and agreement concerning necessary changes and adjustments before altered installation work is started.
10.5 SAMPLES AND DRAWINGS
14.6.1 The Contractor shall submit to the IPMC for approval samples of conduit, wire, wiring devices finished plates and of any items as
may be requested by the IPMC.

14.6.2 Prepare and submit for approval shop drawings or catalogues of equipment appliances and fixtures.

10.6 MINOR MODIFICATION
The plans as drawn are base upon architectural plans and details and show conditions as accurately as is possible to indicate them in
scale. The plans are diagrammatical and do not necessarily show all fittings, etc., necessary to fit the conditions. The location of lighting
fixtures, convenience outlets, and switches shown on the plans are approximate. The Contractor shall be responsible for the proper
location in order to make them fit with architectural details.

10.7 GUARANTEES
10.7.1 The Contractor shall guarantee that the electrical system are free from all grounds and from all defective workmanship and
materials, and will remain so for a period of one (1) year from date of acceptance of the work. Any defects, appearing within
the aforesaid period, shall be remedied by the Contractor at his own expense.

10.7.2 The Contractor shall indemnify and save harmless the IPMC and his duly authorized representative from and against all liability
for damages arising from injuries or disabilities to persons or damage to property occasioned by any act or omission of the
Contractor, including any all expenses, legal or otherwise, which may be incurred by the IPMC in the defense of any claim,
action or suit.

10.8 APPROVALS, SUBSTITUTIONS, ETC.


Whenever hereinafter the words “for approval”, or “approved” (make type, size, arrangement, etc.) are used especially in regard to
manufactured specialties, etc., or wherever it is desired to substitute a different make or type of materials for that specified, all information
pertinent to the adequacy and adaptability of the proposed materials, shall be submitted to the IPMC and his approval secured before
the apparatus is ordered or installed.

10.9 WORKMANSHIP
A. The work throughout shall be executed in the best and most thorough manner under the direction of and to the satisfaction of the
IPMC and shall have the power to reject any works and materials which, in his judgment, are not in full accordance therewith.

B. The Contractor shall have on file, for ready access and reference or set of drawings indicating all works as actually installed,
incorporating in same all changes and additions. And upon the termination of the Contract he shall prepare a set of tracing indicating
thereon the Electrical Work as actually and finally installed. These tracings shall be turned over to the IPMC.

10.10 STANDARDS OF MATERIALS


10.10.1 All materials shall be new and shall conform to the standards specified in the Philippine Electrical Codes and others such
as AIA, IEEA and NEMA, for every case where such a standard has been established for the particular type of materials in
question.

10.10.2 All materials on all systems shall comply with the following specifications, unless specifically accepted, and all materials
where not specified shall be of the best of their respective kind.

10.10.3 Samples of all materials shall be submitted for approval as required by IPMC.

10.11 INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS


10.11.1 APPROVAL OF MATERIALS
All electrical materials shall be new and shall meet the requirements and shall bear the inspection label, whenever standards
have been established.

10.11.2 GROUND TEST


The entire shall be free from improper grounds and from short circuits.

10.11.3 PERFORMANCE TEST


It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to test all systems of the entire electrical installation for proper operational
conditions. These conditions shall apply to the power and lighting installations.

10.11.4 CUTTING AND FITTING


Contractor shall do all cutting and fitting required for the installation of the electrical items and coordinate with the work
of other trades, in accordance with the drawings and in a manner satisfactory to the IPMC.

10.11.5 INSERT, ANCHORS, ETC.


Furnish to the proper trades all inserts, anchors or other required items, which are to be built in by them for securing all

hangers or other supports of conduit and for anchorages for electrical equipment

10.12 WIRE AND CABLE


10.12.1 All wires shall be copper, soft-drawn and annealed, shall be of 98% conductivity, shall be smooth and fine and of a cylindrical
form and shall be within 1% of the actual size called for.

10.12.2 All wires and cables shall comply with the requirements as to the particular usage.

10.12.3 All wires and cables for lighting and power system shall be moisture and heat resistant rubber or thermoplastic insulate. It
must be in conformity with the Philippine Electrical Code as used in damp or unit location. Wires shall be stranded for sizes
#8 AWG and larger.

10.12.4 For lighting and powers system, no wire smaller than #12 AWG shall be used.

10.13 PIPES
10.13.1 Wiring shall be done in rigid steel conduit and PVC pipe, for steel conduit, it shall be standard weight mild steel hot
galvanized or standardized, with an interior coating, and for PVC pipe, it shall not be less than schedule 40.

10.13.2 No tubing shall be used in any system smaller than ½ inch electric trade size, nor shall have more than four 90 degree
bends in any one run and where necessary pull, boxes shall be provided as directed.

10.13.3 No wire shall be pulled into any conduit until the conduit system is complete in all details and in the case of concealed work
until all rough plastering or masonry has been completed in every detail.

10.13.4 The ends of all conduits shall be tightly plugged to exclude plaster, dust and moisture while the building is in the process
of construction. All conduits ends shall be reamed to remove all burrs.

10.14 OUTLET BOXES AND FITTINGS


10.14.1 At all outlets of whatever kind of all system, there shall be provided a suitable fitting, which shall be either a box or other
device especially designed to receive the type of fittings to be mounted thereon.

10.14.2 The Contractor shall consult with the IPMC as to the nature of the various fittings to be used before installing his outlet
fittings, and shall conform strictly in the use of fittings to the nature of the appliance to be mounted on them, so that the
work, when completed will be a finished design.

10.14.3 At all outlets on concealed conduit work, provide galvanized pressed steel outlet boxes of standard make. These boxes
shall be especially designed for apparatus required.

10.15 JUNCTION AND PULL BOXES


Junction and pull boxes of cold steel shall be provided as indicated or as required for facilitating and pulling of wires and cables. Pull
boxes in finished places shall be located and installed with the permission and to the satisfaction of the IPMC.

10.16 WALL SWITCHES


Wall switches shall be rated at 15 amperes, 250 volts, one way or as required. Switches shall be quiet automatic action type, silver
contact, feather touch operation, white.

10.17 PANELS AND CABINETS


9.17.1 All panels shall be of dead front construction, furnished with trims for flush or surface mounting as required. Cabinets shall be of
code gauge steel with gutters at least 4 inches wide and wider if necessary. The trim for all panels shall be finished in
gray enamel over a rust inhibitor. Manufacturer’s shop drawings shall be submitted to the IPMC for approval.

10.18 INDIVIDUAL BREAKERS AND SWITCHES


10.18.1 Provide individual circuit breakers, safety switches and disconnect switches as where indicated. Voltage ratings shall be
suitable in each case of service application.

10.18.2 Enclosure shall be General Purpose, Nema Type, and shall be almost all the requirements and specifications of the
Philippine Electrical Code.

10.18.3 Circuit breakers shall be capable of being closed and operated by hand without employing any other source of power.

10.18.4 Circuit breaker shall be G.E or equivalent.

10.18.5 Safety and disconnected switches shall be fusible or non-fusible as required end of sizes as indicated on plans.

10.19 DISCONNECTING MEANS


10.19.1 Disconnecting means shall be provided as indicated on the drawings at each motor location.

10.19.2 Circuit breakers shall be used for current protection purposes and shall be enclosed in suitable metal housing of type
required by location.

10.19.3 Unfused safety switches shall be used where disconnecting means only are required and the current supply to same is
protected by a circuit breaker at the panel; board, shall be totally enclosed.

10.20 LIGHTING SYSTEM


10.20.1 The lighting system shall be complete in every respect, all indicated on the plan or specified.

10.20.2 All works for the lighting system inside the ceiling shall be done utilizing knob and tube work and lighting circuits shall be
balanced at the panels.

10.20.3 Mounting heights of devices shall be as follows:

a.) Convenience Outlet – 12” above floor or above counters, or as directed by the IPMC.

b.) A.C. Outlets – 6” below the concrete window sill or as directed by the IPMC.

10.20.4 Install all lighting fixtures and lamps as specified or at locations shown in plans or as directed by the IPMC. Fluorescent
lamps shall be 48 inch 40 watts, and 24”20 watt rapid start, type TL standard cool white with minimum light output or
3,000 lumens. All fluorescent ballast shall be 230 volts, high power factor, rapid start as manufactured by General
Electrical Philippines.

10.20.5 All fluorescent lamp holders and starters shall be that with a brand of G.E. or equivalent.

10.20.6 Submit samples of each fixture to the IPMC for approval, prior to installation.

10.20.7 All metal fluorescent fixtures housings shall be porcelain enamel finish.

10.20.8 All incandescent lamp rating shall be as indicated and as shown on plans and shall be as manufactured by G.E. or
equivalent.

10.20.9 Floodlights which is for exterior use shall be installed at the top of the canopy as shown on the plans and mercury bulbs
located at the driveway area with rating 160 watts shall be used.

SECTION NO. 11 – MECHANICAL WORK

11.1 GENERAL SPECIFICATION


Work covered by this specification shall include furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services required to construc t and install
the complete mechanical system shown on accompanying plans and specified herein. All work shall be in accordance with the governing
codes and regulations and with the specifications, except when same shall conflict with such codes, etc., in which case the latter shall
then govern.

11.2 WORK INCLUDED


Under this section of the Specifications, the Contractor shall provide all materials and equipment and perform all the work necessary for
the complete execution of all the mechanical work as shown on the Mechanical Drawings as herein specified; except as otherwise
excluded, and which without excluding the generality of the foregoing, shall include but not be limited to the following principal items of
work.

SPECIAL PROVISIONS

1.0 START AND COMPLETION OF WORK


The Contractor shall start the work ten (10) calendar days after the specified date in the notice to proceed given him by the IPMC and he
shall complete the work within the agreed number of calendar days.

2.0 SUB-CONTRACTORS

The Contractor shall submit other scope of work provided approval of the IPMC has been obtained.

3.0 CONSTRUCTION MEN IDENTIFICATION


The Contractor shall provide all his men working in the project with identification cards at the project site that IPMC may require.

4.0 ACCIDENTS
The Contractor shall provide, at the site, such medical facilities which are necessary to supply first aide to any one who ma y be injured
in connection with the work. The Contractor must promptly report in writing to the IPMC, all accidents whatsoever arising out of, or in
connection with the performance of the work whether on or adjacent to the site, which cause death, personal injury, on property damages
giving full details and statement of witnesses.

5.0 AS-BUILT DRAWING


All the completion of the work under this contract, the Contractor shall furnish the IPMC two (2) complete set of reproducible copies
(sepia prints) of the shop and erection drawings of steel structures as finally approved and actually installed. If no revisions subsequent
to approval have been made, the reproducible copies of approved drawings may be considered as part of this set.

6.0 COST AND FIGURE DISCREPANCIES


In case of discrepancies between cost and total bid cost, the latter shall govern. In case of error between unit cost and cos ts, the unit
cost will govern. In case of discrepancies between price in words and figures occurs, the price in figures shall be considered as the bid.

7.0 BILLBOARDS
The Contractor shall, at his own expense supply and provide all the necessary billboards and sign board as designed and required by
IPMC.

THREE PHASE LINES

The Contractor shall coordinate with the local electric company regarding the kind of electric power needed.

The Contractor shall furnish all materials and shoulder all other expenses which might be changed by the local electric company in the
installation of three phase lines.

It shall be the Contractor’s responsibility to see to it that the building is being served permanent lines before turning over the project.
