PROJECT PROPOSAL FOR A 1-DAY ROLL OUT SEMINAR ON COMPREHENSIVE


SEXUALITY EDUCATION (CSE)
I. RATIONALE:
DEPED is committed to provide and protect the rights of Filipino learners to good
education and to help learners complete basic education without the burden of health concerns. It
also recognized the roles and responsibilities of the school system to give learners their right to
good health by leading the implementation of the Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE).
In order to effectively address the needs of the learners for health and protection through
education CSE is designed to ensure that the learners are receiving comprehensive and appropriate
information that can advance gender equality and empowerment. This also sets the standards for
efficient and effective teaching of comprehensive sexuality education which are anchored on the
use of pedagogical approach that are constructivist, inquiry based, reflective, collaborative and
integrative.
Thus Godod II District will conduct a 1-Day Roll-out seminar on Comprehensive Sex
Education to enhance teachers’ knowledge on integrating key concepts and messages on
reproductive health concerns across the curriculum wherever this can be done most appropriately.

II. OBJECTIVES
1. Orient participants on proper implementation of CSE integration aligned in K-12 Basic
Education Curriculum.
2. Identify core contents, standards and learning completeness of the Enhanced
Comprehensive Sexuality Education.
3. Enable participants to integrate key concepts and measures on reproductive health
concerns across the curriculum wherever these can be done most appropriately.
4. Familiarized with the monitoring and evaluation tools of CSE.

V. Expected Output
1.) 11 School Heads and 14 School Science coordinators were oriented on proper
implementation of CSE integration aligned in K-12 Basic Education Curriculum.
2.) 25 participants would be able to identify core contents, standards and learning
competencies of the Enhanced Comprehensive Sexuality Education.
3.) Participants would be able to integrate key concepts and measures on reproductive
health concerns across the curriculum wherever these can be done most appropriately.
4.) Participants would be able to familiarize the monitoring and evaluation tools of CSE.
