WORK METHOD STATEMENT FOR LACQUERED GLASS PANELING

OBJECTIVE:

The objective of this method statement is to carry out the LACQUERED GLASS
PANELING by meeting the technical specification and complying with Standards.

SCOPE:

The scope of this method statement includes LACQUERED GLASS PANELING

work at ITC Infotech -Green Center while executing, it in accordance with technical
specifications.

TOOLS AND TACKLES:

 Measure Tape.
 Spirit Level
 Pencil
 Glass Vacuum Catcher

MATERIAL USED:

 Lacquered glass – 6 mm thick

 Ply board – 12 mm Thick
 Approved Double side Tape or Adhesive

SAFETY PRECAUTION:

 Induction to all the personnel involved by EXOTIC safety manager.

 Toolbox talks will be conduct regular by safety manager
 Issue of a permit by PMC Managers.
 Use of appropriate PPE.
 Barricading if required
 Prevention of use of any hazardous material
 Appropriate supervision.

PROCEDURE:

 Wall will be checked for plumb line and level.

 After ensuring the plumb of the wall, ply will be fixed on the wall with screws at the
height mention in the approved drawing
 Ply will be in level and free from undulation
 The ply will be clean from dust or loose particles
 Lacquered glass will be fixed on the ply using 3m tape
 Lacquered glass will be fixed in same level using split level
 The corner of the ply which is exposed will be finished with the paint as in wall
 The glass will be clean properly after the installation

RESPONSIBILITIES.

 Construction Manager: He shall be responsible for overall management of

construction activities.
 Site Engineer: He shall be responsible for Executing in safe work method as per
Drawings and guide the supervisors and work men.
 QA/QC In charge: He shall be responsible for ensuring the quality of work &
materials as per the Specifications and standards.
 HSE Manager/Engineer: He shall be responsible for assisting to engineer/supervisor
to ensure the safety of workers during the progress of work.
 Safety inductions of each staff and workers shall be done and daily PPE check to be
done and toolbox talk shall be carried out before the start of work. General safety
awareness as well as safety precautions and guidelines for activity to be carried out
in that day shall be discussed. Stores officer: He shall be responsible for storing of all
materials. Also responsible for maintaining the record of incoming and outgoing and
up to date stock details of materials.
