POSITION: ASSISTANT STOREKEEPER - AHAFO NORTH PROJECT

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Assist with daily operations of the storeroom / cold rooms by ensuring that the store rooms are clean at
all times and items requested issued on time.

DUTIES
 Assists with maintaining organized and clean storerooms that are properly labeled, and product is
protected and safeguarded.
 Assists with preparing storerooms for new inventory to be received. Stock stores according to safety
standards.
 Ensure the store is adequately stocked at all times.
 Responsible for rotating product in stores in accordance to first-in-first-out (FIFO) and expiration dates.
 Assists with preparing external orders of food and other items.
 Assists in maintaining all related inventory within budgeted levels and reports any variances.
 Assists with receiving food orders and storing product at the right temperature.
 Advises Storekeeper of any variances from received orders compared to order.
 Assists with filing internal requisitions, and issuing the product requested and approved, according to
Company policy.
 Regular monitoring of the temperature of the various cold room.

QUALIFICATION
 A minimum of SHS certificate
 At least 2 years’ experience in stores management.
 Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management.
 Familiar with standards and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment.
 Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations.
 Must pay attention to details.

POSITION: DRIVER - AHAFO NORTH PROJECT

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Responsibilities this position include dropping and picking up staff, collecting various packages, and
maintaining a travel log records, and performing routine checks on the company vehicles.
DUTIES
 Safely transporting staff to and from work to specified locations in a timely manner.
 Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid safety
issues or towing.
 Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning
and vehicle maintenance.
 Providing accurate time records in the vehicle log book
 Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
 Ensure safety rules and regulations are adhered to at all times.
 Regularly check oil and tyres properly and keep the service vehicles in clean condition, both inside and
outside
 Keep track of timely car insurance and road wealthy renewals.
 Update monthly mileage records.
 Maintain log book of each service vehicle on daily basis
QUALIFICATION

 Must possess at least license C

 Must be time conscious
 Valid driver’s license.

POSITION: KITCHEN ASSISTANT - AHAFO NORTH PROJECT

ABOUT THIS ROLE

The responsibilities for this role include washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored
appropriately, sorting, storing and distributing ingredients and ensuring that the kitchen area is clean and tidy.

DUTIES
 Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic.
 Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients
 Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare salads and desserts
 Disposing of rubbish
 Organizing linen for laundry
 Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
 Properly cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene.
 Washing and appropriately storing all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards and dishes
 Assisting the Cook with the preparation of meal ingredients, which includes washing, cleaning, peeling,
cutting, and chopping fruit, vegetables, poultry, and meat.
 Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floors as well as wiping down kitchen walls.
 Assisting with the unloading of delivered food supplies.
 Organizing and correctly storing food supplies.
 Promptly transferring meal ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen as per the Cook's instructions.
Stirring and heating soups and sauces as well as preparing hot beverages

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Besides his / her primary responsibility of preparing food for the mess, the cooks often prep ingredients,
ensure cleanliness of their working area, and keep the restaurant stocked with necessary cooking supplies.
They may also help make decisions on menus and day to day offerings.

DUTIES
 Correctly prepares all food served following standard recipes and special diet orders
 Set up work stations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
 Responsible for ensuring kitchen is cleaned up at the end of each shift according to established cleaning and
sanitation standards.
 Responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste, and fraud.
 Responsible for maintaining food preparation pars set forth and keeping track of the food for proper rotation
by checking for correct labeling and dates.
 Assists with monthly inventory.
 Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.
 Stores food properly and safely.
 Complies with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards.
 Completes food temperature checks before service.
 Responsible for consulting with Chef to plan menus and estimate expected food consumption.
 Adhere to all outlined established safety policies and procedures.
 Ensure that kitchen area, equipment and utensils are cleaned.
QUALIFICATION
 At least 5 years’ experience in culinary or a similar position.
 Understanding of raw materials, quality control and other techniques for the effective creation and

POSITION: BAKER - AHAFO NORTH PROJECT
ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Baker will be responsible for preparing baked products which include creating recipes, ordering ingredients and
coordinating baking schedules to produce breads, cakes, pastries, pies, cookies and other goods.
DUTIES
 Prepares, produces, and bakes breakfast pastries, breads, rolls, and some desserts.
 Sets time and speed controls for mixing machines, or blending machines, so that ingredients will be mixed or
cooked according to instructions.
 Measures or weigh flour or other ingredients to prepare batters, doughs, fillings, or whipped cream, using scales
or graduated containers.
 Maintains adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage and refrigeration.
 Keeps spoilage/waste to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities and rotating products.
 Lines up baked products in mobile carts according to the needs of the particular outlet or function.
 Weighing and measuring ingredients for the preparation of baked goods
 Kneading dough by hand or using industrial dough mixers
 Forming loaves to the desired shape
 Baking items in oven (electric, gas or wood-fired)
 Monitoring oven temperature, humidity and baking times
 Removing baked bread from oven
 Setting up and maintaining bread displays
 Complying with food hygiene and safety requirements

health and safety standards
 Washing, disinfecting and properly storing cooking and kitchen utensils and equipment
 Weighing and storing ingredients and food supplies
 Operating a variety of kitchen appliances and instruments including cutters, knives, mixers and ovens
 Managing inventory, unloading supplies and organizing the storeroom

QUALIFICATION
 At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
 Must have knowledge of safe food handling procedures
