Subject Work Procedure for DX22 ECU Replacement

1. Background 2) Loosen Hex bolt x 6ea

This Service Bulletin provides information for

replacement procedure of DX22 GEN ECU

2. Work Procedure
A. Preparation
1) Tool
- Wrench ratchet with 10mm socket or 10mm spanner

3) Disconnect ECU connector x 8ea

- Disconnect connector from 1st to 8th

- ECU (New one)

- Press Hold key and Pull down Lever one by one

4) Remove Harness holder x 4ea

- Lift up Harness holder from ECU Bracket. Holder will

1) Key OFF and wait over 30 seconds so that Main ECU
power relay turns off. Engine Power off

 - Pull down Lever tightly at bottom line then Lift up
Lever until hear “tick” locking sound

5) Replace old ECU to New ECU

8) Fix Harness holder x 4ea

- Press down Harness holder to ECU Bracket. Check

Harness holder is fixed on ECU Bracket

6) Assemble Hex bolt x 6ea

9) Engine Power on and and Key on. Check system.

7) Connect ECU connector x 8ea E.O.D
