INTRODUCTION

An Automated Teller Machine (ATM) is an electronic telecommunications device

that enables customers of financial institutions to perform financial transactions without

any help of bank representatives. It allows the customer to only draw Cash, Receive a

report of the Account balance and Reports account information. John Shepherd-Barron

devised what is hailed as the world's first automatic teller machine, although his claim to

the title is a matter of dispute. He pitched the device to the British bank Barclays. It

accepted immediately, and the first model was built and installed in London in 1967.

On September 2, 1969, Chemical Bank installed the first ATM in the U.S. at its branch in

Rockville Centre, New York. The first ATMs were designed to dispense a fixed amount

of cash when a user inserted a specially coded card. Automated Teller Machine (ATM)

Is an Electronic Telecommunication device that enables costumers of financial institution

to perform financial transaction, such as Cash Withdrawals and obtaining the account

information by checking their Balances.

Background of the study

The most important in today’s Generation is the Technology, It is the body of

Knowledge on creating tools, processing action and extracting of materials. Everyone has

their way to understand the wide term of “TECHNOLOGY”, it can help us in production

process and also in various type of task to simplify our daily lives. In addition, it can also

extend our abilities, Educates us and specially, it can make people the most significant

part of our lives.

Our ATM System Build to do transaction such as cash withdrawal, checking

balance of the user .In addition the account of the user is totally secure to prevent from

scammer and it is absolutely fast enough to any of the transaction to transact whether

cash withdrawal or inquiring balance and without interference of any advertisement to

interrupt the transaction.

OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

General objectives

The main objective of the study, aims to show the flow of Automated teller

machine on processing transaction such as Checking balance, Cash withdrawal and also

to meet its satisfaction from the user.

Specific objective

 To understand the flow of transaction.

 To lesser the time of the user during transaction.

 Easy access on checking their balance and making cash withdrawal.

Scope of the study

This study covers only on the cash withdrawal and checking of Balances of the

user to prevent and secure the account.

Limitation of the study

The Study limits only on ATM system that can make the user account

secure from the scammer and Specially, It can only transact Checking balances and Cash

Withdrawal
